I've made a total of 6 posts now, but I too feel the need to be on ignore, simply because I'm laughing my ass off behind my monitor. If you wish, I can include a hearty "Bwahahahahaha!" in this post to give you some justification.

No they weren't. They were bolted. They just used weak butt-welds to hold them in place while they were bolted.
