Roberts to Debate Bermas on 'Hardfire'

By the way, I was teasing about there being a huge surprise. Those of you who didn't click on the spoiler have more patience than me!

One bit of news: according to the LTW guys, David Ray Griffin will have a "debunking the debunkers" book out soon.

But how could he possibly top Jon Gold's debunking?

I suspect we're going to see a lot of the "No true Denier" defense.

dylan avery is apparently not too happy about how it went:

mark's an interesting character. we all had a talk off-camera afterwards.

the bottom line is this. alot of people watching this debate are going to have their minds made up. i had a TON of things I had on paper I didn't get to say. so did mark. overall, it was an interesting experience. i'm gonna try and get our footage up asap.

However, I don't like the sound of this:
editing the footage right now, while I write script.

i pretty much kept my mouth shut unless i had something i needed to say. or, other times, i had something to say, and i got cut off.

i also had two pages all covering the ISI connection and didn't get to mention any of it.

c'est la vie.

Does this mean they can cut and package it as they like?

LTW brought their own camera. My guess is that they'll present their version of reality to compete against the "official" version as shot by the TV crew.

Well, it is what they DO
Just another day at the Quote Mines!

They also filmed the shows. They can edit that any way they want, but the entire shows will broadcast and online for all to see.

I don't think they'll edit anything. As we can see in their videos from Ground Zero, they don't edit much of anything. Watching their videos is excruciatingly long.

Come on, are you saying you don't want to see Dylan and Jason driving down, Dylan and Jason getting their subway tokens, Dylan and Jason putting the tokens in the turnstile, Dylan and Jason walking up the steps out of the subway, then strolling along the sidewalks....

When you know you have fiction Dylan has to tread water very carefully or he could expose his fraud.

It is amazing as he rakes in the money that he keeps a straight face. Or as he poses with Charlie Sheen who actually believes the stuff; does Dylan laugh at all who believe his tripe?

I have worked with people who just do not care about others, and Dylan has all the characteristics. That could be a good thread; but gee, those guys usually do succeed at things, taking advantage of others knowingly can make you money; used cars; snakeoil…

Speaking of which, too bad that , that subject wasn't brought up.
Just exactly how much money off of his earnings, on his copyright infringing movie has he given to the victims of 9/11?

what exactly is he writing script for? are they doing a voiceover for the debate? lol

c'est la guerre, mon ami

ReggiePerrin asks:

Whats there angle ? why are they such staunch supporters of the official tale ? is it because they think the victims families are hurt by "conspiricy theories" ? if so someone should tell them most of them believe the Bush admin has been guilty of wrong doing one way or another wether it's LIHOP/MIHOP or incompetance, granted there probably is a smaller section who are genuinly offended, but i'd say the majority believe in Bush admin wrong doing with regard 9/11, so what they're doing is basically acting as a barrier to a new independant inquiry so we can once and for all put this to bed, whatever our veiws or theres we should all be calling for a new investigation.

Plus it does'nt reallt matter who was behind it, because the firemen who went into those burning buildings and the NYC police who risked there lifes are still heroes, regardless of who carried out the attacks.

Or could it because we find it offensive that lies and distortions are promoted by people who are using a tragic event to massage their own egos and make a buck?

Are we spoiling their fun?

Whoooooohoooooo! I love it if a plan works. Great Job, Gravy. :yahoo

Did Gravy lose the debate? Well, I suppose I can let the cat out of the bag now that the truth has been revealed. To see the event in all its glory, you'll still have to wait a few days, but here's how it went.

Bermas started talking about something--I think it was Bermas. I adhered to my plan of seizing the psychological upper hand by emitting a series of Tarzan yells. The Boys appeared flustered. As I ripped off my microphone, I noticed that Mark was already naked and standing on the table. I became a human whirlwind, all elbows and feet. Unfortunately, my kinetic energy caused me to overshoot, and the full fury of my assault fell on the cameramen. Acting independently, Mark had gone through a plate glass window and was racing down the hall, screaming like a banshee. Hereabouts I distinctly heard Gary Popkin, the producer, speak the word "hoses."

What happened next is somewhat unclear. I recall lying on the sidewalk, soaked to the skin, thinking that something was terribly wrong, that it was Thursday night and the weekend hadn't even begun yet. One of the cops said something about a "fast-paced show." This morning, I find that my car is now the property of the firm, Neidelman-Goetz-Neidelman. I have to look into this.

Was this the debate, or the christmas party?
