I don't belong to a person who thinks 100s of scientist are part of a conspiracy or something like that, but each institute has a director......, since this 9/11 event is utter complex everyone just is a specialist in one particular piece of the puzzle. If you do a search for 'collapse' in the big bunch of NIST pdfs you will find thinks like

'possible collapse'
'probable collapse'
'collapse hypothesis'
'collapse initiation'
'global collapse then ensued'

However you will not find a paper like Greening's one. Correct me if I'm wrong.

The NIST report was worked on by outside contractors and was peer reviewed during its draft stage.

It's been studied in detail since.

Also, how can a director force 300 people to falsify science and hope that the world's scientific community won't notice?

Why would NIST have to say anything about the collapse after it had initiated?

Are you seriously suggesting that any of the collapses would have stopped before they reached the ground?

If you have a paper that shows this then please submit it to a peer reviewed journal, or send it to some structural engineering professors, or show it to some scientific journalists.

How'd they plant everything with out no one noticing? Larry Silverstein the owner is in on the attacks...he owed the building...which means he had full access to it...Bush's brother was a principal for the company (Securacom) who did security on the WTC.

Are the WTCs residences? No...office building...do you think all of those companies were 24 hours? No...thus, they could have easily pulled off all the work at night, when everyone was gone.

You think the WTC was like that small industrial estate at the end of your street, where everyone clocks off at 5pm and the building's locked until 9am the next morning?

I notice when the cleaning guys have been in my office over night just to vacuum the carpets. Are you seriously suggesting that someone broke into virtually every office in the building, tore out portions of the walls to allow access to the columns, planted explosives, fixed the walls, painted it to look the exact same, and put all the furniture/paintings/whatever back in place, and the next morning no one noticed?

No one noticed new dry wall?

No one noticed fresh paint?

No one smelled fresh paint? No one used the smell of fresh paint as an excuse to get an extra paid day off work?

No one noticed any of their office equipment out of place?

No one noticed any dust or debris from any of this work?

No one noticed any electrical issues from the wiring that would be needed?

They did this in virtually every office in the building, in three buildings, and they didn't screw it up at all?

Seriously, I do need help building that deck.....All my real friends are completely inept at deck building, and my dad is getting too old!

Well...if we CTers can scientifically prove that therma/ite was in the buildings (and we can) than yes...I think we can say that we KNOW it is an inside job. Does that make us co-conspirators?...

THIS SENTENCE PERFECTLY DEMONSTRATES YOUR BIAS.

If you can prove that there was manmade thermite/ate used in the buildings all that proves is that thermite/ate was used in the buildings. It does not show who would have put it there. Who triggered it. etc.

You don't know what was the top of the post, perhaps a horizontal piece that needed moving out of the way, because lifting the whole unit at once would have been unwieldly, possibly that there was more debris piled around the pillar that's been cleared since the top section was cut away...plenty of other possibilities.

YOU CAN'T REASONABLY say that black stuff is molten slab from where a torch cut the column...because if that were the case...than when the molten steel from the column cooled off...it would return back to the same color as the column....HOWEVER, molten metal from a therma/ite reaction...when cooled...IS BLACK BECAUSE THAT'S THE COLOR OF IRON - the direct by product of a therma/ite reaction.

It's just science, folks...you know...something as meaningless as that.

You actually ever been around someplace where a cutting torch was used? I have. I stood fire watch in the Navy while welders used torches to cut through 1 1/2 inch thick steel, on the hull of a submarine. Slag is black, maroon. That is exactly what that looks like. Real world experience vs. play acting on the net.

That has to be your stupidest post yet, why would it have turned back to the slightly rusted colour of the the box girder, if you look at the edge of the cut the steel is a very dark grey (hence the colour steel grey) and that slag will contain burned off paint and other rubbish and you do know that steel is an iron/carbon alloy don't you?
