Question 1: Is it possible to prove whether or not (irrefutably) that in the history of the world...a steel-structured building has collapsed as a direct result of a fire? I know we've all heard that this has never happened before 9/11, but is it possible to prove that statement true or false - without a shadow of doubt? And if we can prove whether or not that statement is true, than please give your answer - yay or nay, and present your evidence.

I've often been tempted to ask them "How many times have you watched the movie "Volcano"? (with Tommy Lee Jones, Anne Heche, and a erupting volcano in downtown LA--and yes, it is as bad a movie as it sounds)

Reason is that at the climax of the movie, they take down a building to block the lava in about 25 minutes using charges strapped to the pillars in the below-ground parking garage. Works perfectly.

Sounds like Alex and his ilk think the movie was a documentary...

dont get me started on how flawed and fictionalized Volcano was to begin with.. Coming from an Island state that is nothing but dormant volcanoes (except for two), one thing that's drilled into us from kindergarten is how volcanoes work. The fact that they were standing near the lava (less than 10 feet) proves its nothing but fantasy (being that close with no protection, is enough to burn the hair off your body).

what you don't think they would be willing to abet the criminals in such a heinous crime as this in order to further their careers and get future gov't work. Although now that 28th kingdom is offering to do away with income taxes maybe they will change their mind.

All kidding aside I don't think I have ever seen a group with such a low opinion of human nature as the so called Truthers. What kind of person do they think would be willing to keep quiet about such a thing. And they expect not just one such person but hundreds in a group that I would claim is not preselected by the NWO or the Illumintti or whoever they believe was supposedly behind the attacks

Not to my knowledge. I've asked similar questions to those raised above about the alleged "power down" numerous times on various boards but no troofer has ever answered. I take it from their inability and unwillingness to address the issue that they do not actually believe it either, but they are too timid to say so out of fear that it will mess up their ridiculous conspiracy theories.

I never get involved in these things but I just need to post this in order to vent. You are a stupid moron. My family knows people that died in 9/11. I saw the planes hit and the buildings collapse. There is no debate on this issue.

Yes, it's an external box I borrowed from my dad so I could recover data from my old hard drive after the old computer got fried by a nearby lightning strike.

I have pointed out in another thread that there have been NUMEROUS cases of steel framed buildings collapsing due to fire alone. These have been well documented over the years in publications including "Fire Engineering", "Fire Chief" and "Firehouse" magazines. But trying to explain this to folks like 28thK is a waste of time. I also pointed out errors in his various posts and offered to go with him to 10/10 House to have a dialogue with some of the firefighters there. Obviously he wasn't interested. But for the rest of you reading this thread, I'll say it again- Steel framed buildings can and DO collapse from fire alone. And no, we're not talking about molten steel here. Next time you are in one of those "Big Box" stores like Costco or Wall Mart take a look at the trusses overhead and think about what effect a fire might have on them and the structure as a whole.

Approximately 2 to 1. 2 Kg thermite will produce about 1 Kg molten metal. Apparently according to 28 there must have been over 30000 tons of thermate.
