Breaking news, small plane hit NY building

As much respect as they deserve, apparently some of the people in charge of the scene responded as if they were stupid.

As opposed to those beacons of intelligence and wisdom, the conspiracy theorists.

Since Lidell's passport was found on the street. Is it more believable now that Mohammed Atta's was found in on 9/11?

Unless they reason that Lidle's passport was planted to make Atta's look less suspicious

no, the ct'ers are claiming that its not possible...and why he has a passport with him?

(I travel with my passport all the time. Its better than a Photo id or drivers license. When flying, driving or what not, the passport is with me whereever I go)

Not Atta's, but Satam al-Suqtami's passport was found in the street. Some media sources got this wrong.

Maybe now some of you can see that, since you have such a fine example to compare the two fires, and the FDNY's response to a similar structure.

Two pictures for ya sub...

ETA: That's for you and any other CTists trying to make 'comparisons'

duly noted. 2 mistakes in 1 post. I am losing it.
However it is still possible which was my point. I believe the Passport was found before the collpase.

Fires this size can be knocked down with ONE 2 1/2 inch hand line and 4 men.
ONE hose team could have been sent to each floor where these relatively small fires were burning,
and I was repeatedly insulted in the LC 4 thread because I KNOW that being a firefighter does not in any way resemble a SPECTATOR SPORT.

I'm guessing one of your talents in life is not comparative analysis.

My passport is with me at all times as well.

which also lends to the fact that these nutballs must not ever leave their homes and play couch critic all day, if they dont realize how important (or ever attempted to get) a passport. Before I got my drivers license, my passport was the ONLY form of photo identification I could use.

Want to get through airport security faster? Show them your passport (they take longer to scrutinize a DL).

Seeing as this belonged a baseball player, whom Im assume is TRAVELING all over creation, the passport would be with him at all times.

The Yankees travel to Toronto to play the Blue Jays quite frequently during the season, and IIRC Lidle pitched for the Jays for at least one season. It's entirely likely that when he was with the Jays he got in the habit of carrying his passport at all times. Plus a passport is great ID, so it's not at all odd he'd have it with him.
