This only shows how conflicting the first reports of an incident can be. This is what CTists crave upon, this is their bread and butter.

Exactly, that was my point actually. It just goes to show how conflicting first reports are.

3:32 est CNN says NORAD puts fighter aircraft in air over several cities! Precaution.
 
A woman on MSNBC video, an eyewitness, is swearing it was a helicopter, and she also, unfortunately, described it by saying "it was like a rocket!"

Yes, but she then said that she only saw wreckage falling in flames after impact. She was assuming it was a helicopter. She was very rattled and not terribly coherent.

Eye witnesses should always remember to restrain themselves from making analogies when describing what they saw...
 
well it could be a helicopter or plane but no one knows for sure! Must be Bush!:rolleyes:

My scanner seems to show NYPD in a low level state of confusion but calming down and getting things done! As expected when responding to an incident of this magnitude. No conspiracies though.

And since this is a masonry building, where the outside supports the building, there is no similarity to WTC.

Accidents happened before 9/11. Accidents.

Coincidences happened before 9/11.

But don't tell the science failures at Loose Change.

But as one ground zero genius tells me that the fires are WTC were, "not that hot."

Since there is no video of this it could be a missile! Or a flaming ball from a catapult. Or maybe it was spontaneous combustion.

I'm not blaming her for how she described it. I'm just saying it's unfortunate that some will take her panicked description as "expert testimony."

Even the newscaster on NBC said "explosion." Understandable, but still fodder for them. They're already talking about "forced air streams, looks really odd. It's deliberate. It's the October Surprise: just enough to scare everyone right before election time...."

Cripes.

The Coast Guard is station in the East River due to the UN. They must have fired a rocket on Bush's order. :rolleyes:
Maybe the UN was a target and they missed!
 
One time I was first at the scene of a plant fire (outside the grounds) and when the news van pulled up they interviewed me. They wanted me to lie so badly, kept asking me things like 'so you are sure you didn't see it actually explode...' and suggestive questions. A bigger bang = a bigger story...

S***heads. I am so glad I don't watch TV.
