We need to know TODAY who the 5 men arrested near RAF Fairford are. Nationalities. Immigration status. This is potentially a scandal capable of bringing down a government and the authorities cannot hide behind "process" just because Labour is holding its conference or Ed Miliband just shook hands with the Iranian foreign minister

Just a thought: Do you suppose the balaclava-wearing group of men the farmer saw might not have been the perpetrators? Perhaps they had already been nabbed.

So let me get this straight. Danny Tommo is arrested and charged with criminal damage over the slashing of a boat in the Channel, a boat that, has no legal ownership

Danny's name is everywhere. His face is everywhere. We know exactly who he is, what he looks like and what he has allegedly done.
Yet five men are arrested over explosives and terrorism offences near RAF Fairford and suddenly we get, Faces blurred. No names. No descriptions. No nationality.

This isn’t just about the media. It’s also, local authorities, government and public bodies. The same institutions that make decisions about who gets hired, who gets protected and what information the public is given.

So if these men were White British, would we be told they were White British?

It was a foiled psyop, that. If it was successful they’d be front and centre and it would be blamed on Russia. This case will now blow over in a week or two because it was stopped by a random farmer who had enough intuition to call police.

Why is their background suddenly irrelevant?

I’m not asking for anyone to be convicted before they face court. I’m asking for the same standards to apply to everyone.

We also need to know why Daniel Thomas has been swept up by the judiciary and terrorists are to be treated respectfully.

The 5 men arrested for terrorism offences, and the same applies to all immigrant crime, is treated as a threat to the establishment's highest priority. Protecting the public image of immigrant communities and immigration policy, which is sacred.

Wonder if they’ve already put in place a DSMA notice in place to ensure no one in the press could even publish the details. Because they can’t have us knowing the truth. Don’t worry, Donald Trump will probably do a press conference and expose Burnham's involvement.

The secrecy is too much to ignore. Even Andy Burnham in a pantomime way called Danny Tommo names that he is a fat right racist etc....on news! That's defamation before a trial as Danny has pled not guilty! It's because they're getting away with it time & time again & no accountability!

The double standards and two tier government policies against our own people in this country is actually racism by the authorities.
I cannot believe they get away with it on a daily basis and it's so blatant.

Apparently it is our fault they attempted to blow up the country side because we allow Americans to use our bases. Perhaps Mahmood will pay them compensation and allow each of them to bring twenty plus relatives into the country because it is their human right. It appears that these relatives could be housed in the stolen properties of law abiding British citizens

I know today's incident near RAF Fairford will be deeply concerning for local residents and for many people following developments across the country.

My thanks go to Gloucestershire Police, Counter Terrorism Policing, our Armed Forces and all those working to keep the public safe.

I am especially grateful to those residents who have been asked to leave their homes while precautionary checks are carried out.

The safety and security of the public is our first priority, and I want people to know that we will always take every step necessary to protect our communities and keep our country safe.

The investigation remains ongoing, and I would urge people not to speculate while the authorities establish the full facts.

Major update from counter terror police about RAF Fairford arrests - all UK nationals:
Male, 24, Resident of Borough of Camden
Male, 24, Borough of Westminster
Male, 25, Borough of Westminster
Male, 23, Borough of Westminster
Male, 24, Borough of Willesden

We do not yet know where they were born or what their names are. Possibly all homegrown, or they could simply have British passports.
