Roger Waters promotes 9/11 conspiracy theories...

What does the psychology profession say about interpreting "incandescent rage" over the internet without knowing the slightest detail about the person expressing said emotion?
Vixen likes to attribute emotions to me. I am hurt to the quick every time she does so :lol2:.

Her accuracy, of course, is just as wrong as everything else she posts. She has no comprehension of how amusing her posts actually are.

By then Syd was a recluse
Be nice if Roger was one, too. Or at least if he'd just STFU and play music.

The average person in the street has a remarkable lack of curiosity.
Based upon your many posts, I doubt you know any average people.

They'll experience events in the news, such as earthquakes, tsunamis, wildfires and flooding as discrete one-off incidents with little interest in what caused them.
Speaking as a Californian, where we have all of those like clockwork, this statement is a bigoted lie. In fact, with 9-11, or demands for answers is partly what led us astray.

The WTC terror attack was meticulously planned, even years in advance, and it wasn't just a case of wanton vandalism by bored teenagers, this was a cassus belli moment, or that was the intent or the perception by Bush.
What? No, really? They planned it? Wow. Nobody knew that...oh wait, yes they did. TIME magazine's special addition 9-11 issue covered most of the intelligence accurately, so most Americans understood the attacks in context.

It is just bonkers to say, 'We must not be curious about what led up to it or the political motivation' because 'that would be anti-Semitic'.
That's not what anybody is saying. We're pointing out that Waters is a known antisemite, and he is appearing at a conference where the theme is "Israel Did 9-11". That's what this thread is about. And 9-11 Truth's roots are very much antisemitic. Waters specifically claims the towers were brought down by controlled demolition because, in his calculations, it is impossible for a 767 to inflict that kind of fatal damage. This is a smart man who is consumed by hatred of Jews to the point where he has flushed his reasoning skills down the toilet.

Why would it be, unless you are concurring it all goes back to Israel and its formation as a State
No, it predates Israel with the formation of the Islamic Brotherhood in 1928. I won't bother educating you on their history, or ties to Al Qaeda because you don't read anything that doesn't come with crayons. It is a fear/hatred of the west. Israel was just a symbol of western influence in the Middle East, mostly because England withdrew from Palestine.

why go to war against Al-Quaeda, in Afghanistan, Iraq and later, the caliphate in Syria, as a result of the 'war on terror' arising from it?
We went to Afghanistan because that's where Al Qaeda was. We went to Iraq because the Bush NSC went to the Vixen School of International Affairs, where facts are cherry-picked, or flat out fabricated, and the brain-trust were a branch of 911-Truth that felt Al Qaeda must have had a state sponsor...but not Saudi Arabia for some reason...

And Syria was more about cleaning up our own mess since ISIS was a biproduct of Abu Ghaib, so that was on us. Got to kill some Wagner guys, though, so that's cool.

This didn't happen out of thin air. There have been numerous 'Peace Summits' from Camp David onwards (Clinton and Arafat, Amiel Sharon before that). This wasn't a new discrete situation, a squally shower out of nowhere, it was a continuation of the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Bush and Netanyahu recognised this
Jesus, no. 9-11 was about the US influence in the Middle East. Support for Israel was part, but mostly is was US military forces based in Saudi Arabia. I will point out that at no time had Al Qaeda attempted to attack Saddam Hussein's Iraq, even though they offered to repell Iraq from Kuwait in 1990. Al Qaeda has never - in its entire existence - attacked Israel, mostly from fear of Shin Bet, who knows where their families live.

There have been no peace summits with Al Qaeda. And Al Qaeda declared war on the US. All they have to do is say they quit, and we're happy to go home.
Are the Arabic nations 'anti-Semitic' towards Israel
No. Jordan, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia actually quietly get along with Israel.

Yes, they are atrocious terrorists,
No, they are not. Israel's problems stem from Hamas and Hezbollah, neither are backed by an Arab country. None of the locals like them. Hamas murdered its way into power, and Hezbollah kills more Lebanese folks than Israelis over all.

Whoever is right or wrong, it is narrow-minded and simplistic to claim it is 'anti-Semitic' to look towards Israel and the Palestinian conflict as being the tectonic plates, as it were, leading up to the 'earthquake' situation of the 9/11 atrocity.
If you're going to frame 9-11 against the backdrop of Israel-Palestine you probably need to dig your swastika arm band out of the sock drawer.

Bin Laden's fatwa is available online:

Here thereafter:It is not concealed from you that the people of Islam had suffered from aggression, iniquity andinjustice imposed on them by the Jewish-Christian alliance and their collaborators to the extentthat the Muslims’ blood became the cheapest and their wealth and assets looted by the hands ofthe enemies. Their blood was spilled in Palestine and Iraq. The horrifying pictures of themassacre of Qana, in Lebanon are still fresh in our memory. Massacres took place in Tajikistan,Burma, Kashmir, Assam, Philippine, Fattani, Ugadin, Somalia, Eritrea, Chechnya and in BosniaHerzegovina. Massacring Muslims that sent shivers in the body and shook the conscience. All ofthat happened and the world watched and heard, and not only did not respond to these atrocities, but also with a clear conspiracy between America and its allies prevented the weaklings fromacquiring arms to defend themselves by using the United Nations as a cover. Muslims becameaware that they were the main targets of the Jewish-Crusader alliance of aggression. The falsepropaganda regarding human rights have vanished under the tribulations and massacres that werecommitted against Muslims everywhere....

It goes on and on. He takes aim at the Saudi royal family. Al Qaeda's main goal remains the overthrow of the Saudi regime. And it might surprise people that I agree with a few of his points in this document, but he's mostly a self-serving human sphincter (seriously, where was Al Qaeda in Kosovo? Where were their food donations in Somalia? He talks a good game, but when it came to helping Muslims in trouble, the US did far more than Al Qaeda ever will).

Anyhoo, Roger Waters ignores this fact...and so do you.

Be nice if Roger was one, too. Or at least if he'd just STFU and play music.

Well, based on his appearance on the Tucker Carlson interview, Roger (aka George) makes Syd appear sane. If Syd's brain was fried, Roger's is seriously pickled. Reminds me of this gent here, especially when Roger claims the Russians are terribly nice people.

That claim is based on the fact that a group of Israeli citizens (who were deported) were seen celebrating as the planes hit. Their van was found loaded with explosives IIRC and they worked for a removal firm that turned out to be a front for an Israeli spy organsiation.

Er, the 9/11 terrorists were largely Saudi Arabians and now your POTUS is besties with...er...Saudi Arabia..?

And Syria was more about cleaning up our own mess since ISIS was a biproduct of Abu Ghaib, so that was on us. Got to kill some Wagner guys, though, so that's cool.

Erm, wasn't it the USA who installed the Al-Assad puppet..?

Stop! Stop! You are beginning to sound like a stock CIA character in a Netflix film.

Absolute nonsense.

Loving the "U.S.A! U.S.A!" spin you always so reliably put on things. It's heartwarming in your naive sort of way. Bless your heart.

Fact?

And I thought you told us they were Egyptians?

Please provide sources for these claims. Ideally with links and direct quotations, but at the very least with references that are precise enough to identify the text you are relying on.

You most assuredly do not RC.

Five Israeli men were detained because they were reported as acting suspiciously (photographing the event from the roof of a van, seeming "happy", which was just as likely very excited). The van had nothing suspicious in it (the guys worked for a moving company) and the FBI determined they were not involved nor posed any threat. They were summarily deported for work visa violations that were procedurally discovered during the questioning.
