The violence at the Reform Ltd rally and the masked 'protest' in Dover are quite a chilling warning of the path we're going down. In both cases you've got people who've been brainwashed into a fantasy where they're the brave heros fighting an invasion of subhuman monsters, they put on their costumes, be it the masks in Dover or the conference goers in their Union Jacks, turquois cowboy hats or in one case Richard Coeur de Lion costume and feel detached from the reality and consequences of their actions. It's Lord of the Flies without the excuse of being children.

It seems that Reform used imported Turkish water to circumvent attached bottle cap standards.

Interestingly, this brand of water, HAYAT Natural Mineral Water, is not recognised by DEFRA in the UK as a registered source of mineral water.

They are VERY specific that any mineral water from outside of the country has to be registered. This brand IS NOT on their list.

Have Reform UK broken the law in order to not have woke bottle tops?

If the latter trend continues then the ex-hotels are abandoned and derelict, the small boats have disappeared, and with Trump hopefully reined in after the midterm elections the economy could be in an upswing. I think that's absolutely true of the Tommehs and the Tommos etc, the mid level true believers, I think the top level like Farage and Tice are busy making plans to cash in and cash out when Mr Toad's Wild Ride comes to an end. But I don't think that's true of the people assaulting those protestors, they think they're the silent majority and that under Farage's genius leadership they're an unstoppable force headed for Downing Street. They're the ones I'm simultaneously fascinated and terrified by.

Look at those people, under normal circumstances the worse things you'd expect them to do are a spot of animal cruelty to their small dog with a rolled up newspaper, making their server's life miserable (and stiffing them for a tip) at the local Harvester's early bird sitting and driving like a blind twat who thinks they always have right of way. Instead you've got twinset grandma and casual smart grandad trying to commit common assault on 'are wimmen', smartly dressed white women who could be their kids or grandkids.

Remember those sketches about out of control grannies committing vandalism and assault, I think the Pythons, Goodies and Young Ones all did it. This is it for real. They'll try and justify it by claiming they were bravely defending their cult leader from a potential assassin and invoking the name of the Sainted Virgin Widdecombe of Blessed Memory, but, while it may be a while since I read it I'm pretty sure the OAS didn't pay The Jackal half a million dollars to stand on a chair and heckle Charles de Gaul.

When the combination of disruption obsessed billionaire controlled social media and multimillionaire controlled weird little TV channels are turning these people into a violent mob, and simultaneously mobilising an army of violent younger people who've been the victims of a decade and a half of educational cuts and lack of press regulation. This could turn very bad, very quickly.
