Ah okay, I guess I'm not as gloom and doom as a lot of people. I doubt the rank and file GOP would ever get on board with refusing to swear in Democratic members en masse. I know it seems like there's nothing they wouldn't do, but I believe there is a threshold they won't cross and this would be one of them. I can see Trump trying his best to strong-arm Johnson though, ala Pence and the 2020 election.

I recall an informal logical fallacy, “Argumentum ad lack-of-imaginationum”. Takes the form, “I can’t imagine x, therefore…”.
