Trump's Second Term

Amazing how Republicans are vehemently against statutory sick pay for anyone and yet they are doing everything they can right now to keep a corpse on payroll
They might have to go all Weekend at Bernies on him before too long. Coulda used it in some of his oval office press events.

You also need to develop raging fascism and vituperative Christian white nationalism.
Man, my to-do list is getting longer & knottier. Right now it's at

Lessee now. Sock, left, check. Sock, straw foot -- I mean, right, check. Pants, check. Belt, check.
Suspender, um. Damn, is it one or two? Oh well, fly. Fly? Check? Hey, a little help here!

FREEDOM FUEL HAS ARRIVED. ⛽️🇺🇸

The FIRST Freedom Fuel Network gas station has LANDED in Philadelphia, lowering the price at the pump to $3.47 for our 47th President.

President Trump is leading the charge to lower gas prices this summer - putting more money in your pocket. 🔥
So I assume this will turn out to be subsidized by the Federal government while any profits go to Trump.

ETA: Either that or it will all fade away after a couple of weeks like so many other half-assed Trump projects.

BFD. I can fill up for $3.49 a county over, and it has nothing to do with this nonsense. What a ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ joke.

And if I don't want to drive more that 5 minutes, I can fill up for $3.74. Who do these people think they are bull ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊?

Possibly, yes. I am not in the least interested in football, or any sports for that matter, so sports knowledge is populating my mind very sparsely. What I wrote was based on a vaguely remembered interview with one of the former FIFA auditors, who claimed that Infantino had put African football on the map by securing a flow of money to build training facilities for African youth, and so on, which made Infantino very popular. All of this could also be seen as bribes.

The former auditor also noted that the new auditors were given a pay rise, officially in order to "strengthen" their office.
FIFA has been "building training facilities" in Africa for decades. At least since Havelange. It's the organisations preferred cover for bribes.

I'd argue that we did through most of the Cold War. Western Europe didn't have the conventional armed forces to deal with the Warsaw Pact. Even though we subsequently discovered that the Soviets weren't sure whether Poland would have defected

Trump is certainly throwing away lots of US soft power and trade opportunities
Europe was designated as the US's buffer zone if the cold war ever turned hot.
