I got curious and tried to look up what exactly what this was, but it looks like nobody seems to know what this is. Some sort of rebranding of an existing gas station network? Gas station with subsidized prices?

Secondly, it looks like whatever this Freedom fuel network is, it may not even be the lowest price. Supposedly they opened one of these Freedom Fuel Network stations in New Jersey, it was not listed in the top 10 of cheapest prices in the Gas Buddy web site.

Thirdly... he is bragging about the price being $3.47. But just a few weeks ago didn't he brag about prices being under $2? So him bragging about gas costing >$3/gallon would make it more expensive. "I've reduced gas prices, to a cost that is higher than I said it was only weeks ago".

The USA doesn't have a separate trade deal with Spain.
It has a trade deal with the EU.

The most likely reason for this is that the second hand ex-Qatari jet doesn’t have the defense systems needed when flying from Turkey while in a shooting war with Iran.
