Lets go back to the 2016 election? Trump was actually seen as the "moderate" candidate....

He also, variously sexually assaulted women, mocked a disabled guy, called for the execution of innocent men and was the leading voice of the birthers*.

Again, Orwell's "ignorance is strength" wins.

So we're back to making excuses as to why we have to nominate\elect more moderates rather than actual progressives?

It really does show why MAGA/Trump voters exist - the one thing [older] people hate above all, is change.

MAGA wants the clock dialed back 1000 years, but left voters are equally terrified of change.

Ho hum.

Cool, hopefully we get a ton of moderates that are afraid of calling out the Republicans, try to appeal to "moderate" Republicans and put up "moderate" bills that get nothing done vs. electing actual thirsty progressive that want to get real change.

Who ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ cares about getting the House and the Senate back if we're just going to do the same milquetoast, hand wringing, stupidity that got us here in the first place.

Look, I get it. A lot of us are demoralized watching RINOs and Chamber of Commerce types run for office. They talk tough but sell us out for cheap labor and open borders every single time.

But here’s the brutal truth: sitting home or splitting votes isn’t an option.

This midterm, we vote the RINOs out and replace them with people of real substance — fighters who actually stop immigration .

If we don’t act and Democrats regain power, they will flood us with forty million more illegal aliens, which they will then legalize. Then the country is lost forever.

Wore my Trump flag as a cape during the special session and the Democrats started screaming “racist” at me on sight. They don’t know me. Never met me. Just saw the flag and had a meltdown.

That’s the modern Democrat Party in a nutshell.

They smear anyone who stands with President Trump. They’ve called him every name in the book for years. Now they’re doing it to everyday Americans who refuse to bow down. It’s their only move when they can’t win on policy or truth.

They lecture us about “democracy” while they gerrymandered for decades, cheered the 2020 steal, and now cry foul when maps don’t go their way. It’s all an act.

I’ve taken FBI raids, millions in lobbyist attack ads, and every cheap shot the Nashville establishment could throw at me. None of it broke me.

The radical left doesn’t scare me. Their slurs don’t scare me. Their temper tantrums don’t scare me.

Not even close, Stephen. You maybe get 30-40% Republican. Yet even in the highest GOP districts you still lose because a) You didn't run anyone and b) when you did your candidates were utter crap and unsupported. Here's a thought: maybe if your ME-2 candidate didn't waste so much time crying about the Mexican border in the part of the Continental US that is furthest from said border wasn't the best tactic.

A reminder that only MA and CT have more than one or two Representatives. How does Gerrymandering work, Stevie?

But Democrats can't even give voters a say before redrawing maps?!

The court ruled the General Assembly violated the Virginia Constitution in advancing the amendment, nullifying the referendum entirely.

No word yet on what our Governor plans to do at this point, but we will hear something soon I expect. What a whirlwind it has been over the last year or so here going from VA Supreme Court clearing the way for the vote, to the vote happening (we voted early) and then after it passed the incessant GOP whining, to the same Supreme Court overturning the vote that they cleared the way for last year. It's been wild! I guess we'll have to just gerrymander the old fashioned way.
