What kind of person supports a regime that kills children en masse, develops nuclear weapons, bombs their neighbors, casually violates international law, and uses "holy texts" to continually expand their borders -- all at the expense of the American taxpayer. The US hasn't bombed their neighbours recently, but has bombed an awful lot of countries that aren't neighbours, Israel has bombed most of its neighbours, technically Iran isn't bombing anyone at present, and has only bombed Iraq in the past after Iraq attacked Iran. All three countries casually violate international law. All three appear to use 'holy texts', but only Israel and the US seem to want to expand their current borders. Israel and the US are certainly funded with US tax dollars. The US has probably killed the most children, even if you ignore Vietnam, Cambodia etc. Post 9/11 the US has been responsible for 5 million deaths many of which will have been children. Israel rather fewer, but still a fair number in Lebanon, Syria, Palestine in the last few years. So on child killing I'd put US top, followed by Israel then Iran.

Iran only requires hijab, covering the hair (mostly) with a scarf or hat, and clothes that are relatively modest skirts, trousers leggings down to ankle, long sleeves and a top that comes below the waist like a tunic or loose shirt. Not sure if there is a better thread, but If I was China, I would be thinking that now would be a good time to make a move on Taiwan, with the US tied up with the middle East and running low on missiles, and busy alienating allies. Trump's great foreign policy success might be ending the Chinese civil war and bringing about the reunification of China.

Are you claiming that if you hadn't attacked during this crucial two-week window, Iran would have crossed some sort of rubicon that would have led to them inevitably having nuclear weapons at some indeterminate point in the future?

Is China making a move on Taiwan? No signs of it yet. And just like there were signs of our repositioning to attack Iran, there's going to be plenty of signs of China repositioning before they can attack Taiwan.
And I don't think China is taking the message from this conflict that you think they are. For one thing, their oil supply is now under threat. You think that's the ideal time for them to launch an invasion? It's not. The old aphorism about armies marching on their stomachs, but nowdays it's more that armies march on their gas tanks.
Second, we just killed Iran's top brass on the first day of the conflict. If you don't think that has China's top brass second guessing their own vulnerability, you're kidding yourself.

China is building connections and wealth while Israel and the US are destroying it.
They have lodged themselves into Africa, and no one can dislodged them.
They have Russia and North Korea under their control, and nothing to fear from Japan - or the US at this point.
No, I think an invasion of Taiwan is less likely than ever, though an increased pressure for the island reduce US connections is.
China has been anticipating this crisis by building up huge oil reserves. And there are reports that they are helping the Iranians with access to their GPS and communication systems and some intel.
China is fine with everyone bashing each other's heads in and picking up the pieces, looking like the only Power not gungho for war all the time.
You don't really need an exit strategy if your plan is just to kinda hang around until Jesus turns up on His white horse. He'll take it from there and tell everyone what to do next.
