Trump's Second Term

Why didn't they post it on the Rachel Maddow video too?

If it's there on the Rachel Maddow video, show me where:

That's not a Rachel Maddow video, that's a Tajo gull vines video.

Now there's a video that susposedly shows Rachel Maddow breaking the story that Volkswagon is shifting a factory to Canada.

Seriously, Rachel Maddow supposedly broke the story about the Toyota plant 2 days ago, but not a single actual news site has picked up on it. What are the odds of that if the story is actually credible?

Challenge accepted, but please bear with me - cooking and interwebbing slow each other down, also this fakery is is proving to be a much bigger wormhole than expected.
Cooking done, so returning to this.

Step one: look for this (or these) videos on outlets Maddow releases her on. No results.

Step two: search Youtube for the videos title '1 MIN AGO: Japan Chooses Canada'. Dozens of painfully obviously AI generated videos offering trivially remixed versions of the same script 'hosted' by Maddow, Jimmy Kimmel, Kamala Harris, and a slew of other 'people' that I don't recognise, but assume are similarly US versions of left wingers.

Step three: search for this story on news websites. No results.

@AmyStrange , you were tricked by bad actors using AI fakery. What they were trying to achieve, I don't know. They could be on the right and trying to make the left look bad, they could be on the left and trying to make the right look bad, they could be outsiders trying to foment disharmony in the US, they could be chancers trying to monetise their youtube channels, I don't know. What I do know is that it was all lies.

Can you find that video on Maddow's channel, or any channel she works for/with?
How do you explain the first two videos you linked having the exact same script, but entirely different visuals ( glasses/no glasses for a start) and 'Maddow's' voice being in a different pitch?
YouTube is being overrun by AI.

What I did find is that a new plant has been opened in Canada this year by Honda that had obviously been in progress for some years.

A lot of us want to see news of this fool being removed from office, imprisoned or otherwise permanently removed from power.
It's an easy bet a video of that nature from a seemingly reputable source would be watched by many.

I have seen two years of videos of "This ends Russia!" or Putin losing this war and surrendering. I won't even click on a video promising something has finally ended that war until at least 4 reputable channels carry a similar story.
It's always the clickbait and something almost related yet Urkaine hasn't pushed the Russians out yet. In fact near no significant movement of front lines.

It's a dirty business and we need to be smarter than our hopes. It's hard to not want to believe the headlines you like.

Taiwan under the bus

REPORTER: "Mr. President, you took a kind of a little bit of a swipe at AOC today, and I was just wondering…"

TRUMP: "Well her performance was horrible, I was surprised, actually, I didn't know she was stupid."

REPORTER: "So how would you have answered the question that she was asked about whether the U.S. should support Taiwan if they're attacked by China?"

TRUMP: "Well, I would have just said that it's none of your business right now because I wouldn't answer that question anyway. I wouldn't respond to a question like that. That's war when it comes to war, you don't talk about your strategy."

Why didn't they post it on the Rachel Maddow video too?
Before answering that - Once again, this is irrelevant to the point that was made in what you responded to. You posted two extremely similar videos. The first was marked, the second was not. In a case like that, YOU were the one who has created ambiguity and the onus is on you to be clear about which you're referring to when you reply. If you don't, you can reasonably safely expect that you will be called out for that.

Now, for the question you asked here, it immediately begs the question - "What does it take to get that tag added?"

On a quick check, either creators or YouTube can add it. YouTube's method to detect whether to add the tag if the creator does not is nigh certain to leave plenty of room for videos to fall through the cracks or not have it added in a timely manner, though. As things stand, Rachel Maddow fakes are much more likely than average to be created by bad actors who would have no interest in applying the tag. That the first video was marked and the second video was extremely similar to it is a yellow flag for the second, even though it wasn't marked. Hence, asking for further confirmation is reasonable.

I mean, there are a lot of news items about the fat clown that don't have another source, but some folks don't question those reports. Why not?

I think that it's safe to say that the first video that you posted was tagged is the first big issue that put people on guard. The second issue is that Rachel Maddow fakes made by bad actors tricking people is a known problem. As for the fat clown in question, fakes of him are pretty pointless for those who oppose him, given his constant stream of actual BS and evil. Bad actors creating fakes to muddy the waters would be very unsurprising, of course, but there's relatively little room for butt into the picture, given Trump.

Edited to remove a bit about Nissan, because oops, tired.

I'm betting Gramps has no clear concept on where, what, and why Taiwan is
