We are not talking about a challenge. Hate speech is a threat to members of our population, and many of us think it should be treated like the threat it is.

Your view is a nice ideal. Welcome nazis to the discourse, and convert them with facts and reason. Quite nice and innocent. But we know that's not how it works. We know what they want, and they don't want facts or reason. Just cut to the chase where we knock their teeth out. Saves a lot of time and serving nazis tea and biscuits.

Have you never heard of the saying "Pull someone’s teeth" or "Defang"?

As I've mentioned before I am fine with Nazis being imprisoned until they no longer pose a threat to my society, hopefully this can be achieved by rehabilitation so they can return to society.

There's nothing like stoking the fear and hatred of a real or imaginary enemy to unite humans and motivate them to behave in ways they otherwise would not. Once enough people have been infected a tipping point is reached and the whole direction of society can change. Democracy and civilisation are on the ridge of a very steep and pointy mountain range. It might be wise to install some safety fences.

Since I didn't say a word about killing anybody, I think we can assume you have adopted your famous Coked-Up Goldfish persona and further exchange will be pointless.
