Looking at some LDS subs on Reddit, and they are saying that the suspect couldn't possibly be Mormon or from a Mormon family because news reports described the father as a "pastor" or "minister" or some other title. Since LDS doesn't use those titles, BOOM!, he's not Mormon.

Really, not all news agencies know LDS terminology. He was probably a Bishop. LDS has tens of thousands of Bishops, it's just the title of the leader of a neighborhood "Ward" church. It's a temporary rotating position.

Incidentally, I used to live in St. George and knew a kid named Tyler who was probably about the right age to be this kid. And his dad was a cop. But I think about 1/4 of the white boys in St. George were named Tyler so that's not saying much. And I knew a lot of law enforcement people there too.

"Influencer" is a stupid made up internet term for people who can sucker idiots into believing their pap. Anyone who's thinking is swayed by an "influencer" is a low grade imbecile.

Although I have to admit to a degree of fascination, I thought 'Reality TV Star' was about as low as the human race could get. It makes you wonder what comes next..
 
Just checked a Norwegian editorial about how the Norwegian papers (at least some of them) are referring to him as 'conservative', as opposed to far-right. Not sure if anyone will be able to open this, but here's the translated version. It has an excellent rundown of the horrible things he said, too.

Also note the comments thread, where the usual suspects are out in force to gaslight. He was just a moderate who wanted debate, dontchaknow, and whoever calls him a racist are just meanies who can't tolerate disagreement.
I note they never say that when the left utters controversial opinions🙄.

This. I miss the time when blogs were people writing about their daily lives and whatever interested them. Now they (along with vlogs) are thinly veiled commercial channels.

This. I miss the time when blogs were people writing about their daily lives and whatever interested them. Now they (along with vlogs) are thinly veiled commercial channels.

I miss when people became famous for actually being able to do something or having done something noteworthy.
