Trump's Second Term

I knew that drug addicts sometimes share needles, but I didn't realize that they shared pills ("we've seized over 22 million fentanyl laced pills, saving over 119 Million lives").
For every user who overdoses, there are four cops who show up on the scene and second-hand overdose upon being reminded that meth exists.

Executive Order: Enforcing Commonsense Rules of the Road for America’s Truck Drivers

How is that a 0?

It's specifically designed to put people out of work?
From what I can see from a quick read of the order, it says people driving trucks commercially in the United States must be able to speak English proficiently. I don't know how many commercial driving license holders in the States speak only Spanish or (in Louisiana) French.

...and more specifically people who aren't from the correct ethnic/cultural group.

Edited to add...

In my experience anything appealing to common sense is a bad idea. If it was a good idea they'd promote it on its merits instead.
I agree with you, and I was tempted to score it at -1 for this very reason. But I remain to be convinced how requiring truckers in the USA to be able to speak English is a bad thing.

Leavitt on Fox News's polling, which sometimes doesn't reflect well on Trump: "I know he's made some phone calls to express his displeasure with it as well."

Dom Lucre asks Leavitt if the administration might investigate Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton. Leavitt says she finds the question "refreshing"

Trump on possibly using the Insurrection Act to send troops to the border:

"We have a country that is under siege. We have a country that really is under attack. In many ways worse than under attack because there are no uniforms. You don't know who the attacker is."
Strangely he accurately describes his administration.

Every accusation is a confession…

I wonder if the cowering legacy media understands that no matter how often they cave, Donnie Diapers will not love them. Even these weasels will fall from favor if they don't toe the line.

Maga is in charge.

Bondi says Donald has saved 258 million lives in the last 100 days.

It could be true! All that produce that is rotting and has rotted because of Trump could easily have saved the lives of hundreds of millions of various kinds of flies!

Requiring truckers in the US to be able to understand English well enough to understand and abide by traffic signs and communicate with law enforcement if necessary isn't a bad thing. It's been the law for a fair while, on a quick check. With that said, purely because we're dealing with the Trump Administration, I find myself concerned by the chance of Trump's actions creating additional ways to abuse otherwise reasonable requirements. How are they going to enforce such beyond the already existing enforcement of the laws, specifically, and will such be mainly used to harass or harm disfavored groups with this being little more than a pretext to do so?

I don't recall "You'll have less stuff and it will cost more" being one of his campaign slogans.
The cultists probably think it's worth it to suffer since they know the people they've been told to hate are suffering even more, which is what it's always been about for them.

Well the issue is that they aren't going to be pulling over any white truckers to check their language skills are they?

  • Trooper: Sir, do you know why I pulled you over?
  • Trucker: I don't know.
  • Trooper: Sir, please, name the capitols of three Western states.
  • Trucker: !Ai dios mio. Okay. Uhhh... California...Texas....
  • Trooper: Sir, get out of the truck! Now! You're under arrest!

In just the last 100 days, 75% of Americans would have taken fentanyl and died, had it not been for Trump. He's practically superhuman.
Well, it all depends on how you spin it. Since in this day and age Trump considers himself entitled to murder us all, every day he doesn't, he gets credit for not doing it. Thank you kindly, fearless leader!

If you give a mouse a cookie, he'll want a glass of milk. Once you've shown that you will capitulate, the requests will just keep coming. To wit :—
White House official May Mailman demands that UPenn "apologize personally to the female athletes who have been offended" by trans athletes or lose its federal funding

The Trump administration will simply keep eroding, each new step a step toward authoritarianism. It's already happening. Eventually there will come a bridge to far, but waiting until then to resist undercuts any moral support you would have had.

This apology demanding is really pissing me off.

The old saw about not interrupting your enemy when they're making a mistake tastes a bit sour when it comes to this administration.
