The steps to the Gryffindor girls' dormitories magically reject male entrants based on sex-at birth.
Since @acbytesla can't find it, here's Joanne Rowling's original tweet that sparked off the tsunami of hate against her as a transphobe.
There is also a very thoughtful article explaining her position in detail. You won't find a word of hate in it.

Recently she has become quite sarky though.
I assumed the mantle. I learned it from watching you.
How? Telekinesis? If you don't have force of law, you have nothing.
Great. Rely on the Jedi Mind Trick.
Reason and law.
Do you understand the legal concept of trespass? It doesn't seem like you do.It's worthless without force of law.
Oh, you can have legal enforcement. But there are legal options besides "do nothing" and "criminalize any entry". But you're pretending that there aren't.What are they going to do? No enforcement, no teeth, and we are right back where we are now.
Damn it why couldn't you have asked this before Easter but after Good Friday.Who died and made you judge of our souls?
You've mentioned that.I don't care what the men's reasons are for wanting to breach our boundaries. I want all of them to stay out, regardless.
I don't think we've much discussed whether it's okay to keep cisgender males out.Hey, maybe we could start a multi year multi part thread to discuss exactly that?
Ya that was that niggly little distinction that I'm making. That you said you didn't have or even want. Productive day, today.Fortunately, I do have force of law,
That is my understanding, yes.and that has very recently been confirmed. So yes, I rely on both reason (if men go into a women-only space, it ceases to be a women-only space), and the law, which has recently been upheld.
Do you understand the legal concept of trespass? It doesn't seem like you do.

Fair point. I leave you to your ritual suicide thread.I don't think we've much discussed whether it's okay to keep cisgender males out.
It's not an either or. I can have compassion for people with delusions, without having to affirm their delusion.Unfortunate/Delusional? Which is it? Do you have compassion for them or not?
Yes, and I understand it's force of law very well.Do you understand the legal concept of trespass? It doesn't seem like you do.
Sure. A hearty finger wag. Ringing a Bobby who might get there after the transwoman has peed, washed her hands, maybe touched up her eyeshadow, and has casually strolled along halfway down the block.Oh, you can have legal enforcement. But there are legal options besides "do nothing" and "criminalize any entry". But you're pretending that there aren't.
No, you obviously don't. It's not a crime to be trespassed.Yes, and I understand it's force of law very well.
After 5+ years of non-stop vilification, harassment, and threats... I think Rowling is still incredibly reserved.Recently she has become quite sarky though.
Yet it quickly can become so, and alternate charges that mean effectively 'trespassing is a crime' are euphamized willy nilly. "With intent to..." is a popular generic one.No, you obviously don't. It's not a crime to be trespassed.

I think it's a fair question to ask anyone who wants to substitute sex-segregation with segregation by self-identification why it would be okay to ask cisgender men to leave the ladies room, and I've seen more than one interlocutor die of rhetorical seppuku making the valiant but doomed attempt to formulate an answer which tallies with their own worldview.Fair point. I leave you to your ritual suicide thread.
I agree, oblique as I may have been throughout the thread, which is why I dislike self ID and favor clarifying the sex/gender line ASAPI think it's a fair question to ask anyone who wants to substitute sex-segregation with segregation by self-identification why it would be okay to ask cisgender men to leave the ladies room, and I've seen more than one interlocutor die of rhetorical seppuku making the valiant but doomed attempt to formulate an answer which tallies with their own worldview.
I give it good odds this is the one. It was pretty much the only one that had good controls in place, and the difference observed was specific to self-perception processing.Which study is the one you are referring to in the last paragraph? The one I am aware of is the one below, which controlled for sexual orientation and found that transgender participants had sex-typical values in most brain regions after controlling for sexual orientation, but were distinguished in regions related to processing self-perception.
