Because what they're doing is capitalizing on a current bit of hubbub as right-wingers seek to find some rationalization to pretend that they're on the side of good. To poke at a couple more quotes from the same place as that last one -I can accept that, thanks. So why didn't they go for his arm tattoo? Surely that's MS-13 related too?

That's not how US law works, lard-arse. Not even close. But then what would you know about that.
Is that your personal knowledge as an expert or is that what you read in internet sources? The sources I've found seem to back that general idea up, but unless some expert (like in front of s judge, like due process) says that *all* gang members have MS-13 blatantly tattooed on their bodies, then it doesn't mean much to me. Id rather get Garcia in front of a judge or court (again, that pesky due process thing) and ask him directly what the symbols mean to him.
