Trump's Second Term

Imagine the howls from the Republicans if a Democratic administration has done something so grossly incompetent?
Why bother, at this point? The current Republican Party has long since proven that, collectively, their howling is far more akin to the worst kinds of brainless sports team support. Just about every meaningful principle that they've invoked as if they actually cared is a principle that they seem to immediately violate the moment that it's put to the test. A bit like how they chose a thin-skinned narcissist to lead them immediately after claiming the Democratic President was bad because of false accusations of being a thin-skinned narcissist.

So...again.

Why did these brainiacs add such an anti-Trump person to the group? What's the reason? For the shiggles?

And why were they communicating war plans and operations over Signal? Did they forget which button to push?
And they were the actual war plans and operations. Even if it was some kind of "sting" operation why would they use real details?

When life matches art....PRIVATE EYE has been running a spoof column featuring a government WhatsApp group ever since Covid lockdown.

Who knew Hegseth & Vance would take note and copy it?

Speaker Johnson on the security breach: What you did see, though, I think was top level officials doing their their job, doing it well and executing on a on a plan with precision.

I was just about to post that the spin from the various pro-Trump media mouthpieces is now that the takeaway from the security breach should be the admirable professionalism of the officials present in the chat.

Wouldn't it be refreshing if a politician said "Yes, I/we made a mistake and I'm/we're going to learn from it and do X/Y/Z to try to make sure it doesn't happen again."

Perhaps the super secret strategy is to convince us all that most politicians are the last people who should be given any power.

I'm convinced!
