Why can't some agency staffer shoot him as an intruder? A clear case of stand-your-ground, I'd have thought. "This crazy guy burst into my office and started raving. He had a horrible puffy face and a clear demeanor of someone high on drugs. So, fearing for my life, I defended myself." What jury would convict? Especially when it comes out he's an African immigrant.

The pending case is civil. At best, Musk would be personally enjoined from acting under color of law, but I doubt he would obey any such court order.

I can't imagine Musk being charged criminally under federal law for anything, and Trump would just pardon him anyway.

The D.C. circuit is presently overwhelmed with Trump- and Musk-related law suits. This was the plan.
 
Musk is now getting pushbakc from the religious wing of MAGA; his Transhuman beleifs do not fit in well with basic CHraistian beleifs ( or the beliefs of just about every other major relgion).
My own opinion of transhumanism..at least in the form adapted by the high tech moguls....is that is total crap ; they have been reading too much science fiction.
TO be fair, many Transhumanist have distanced themselves from a lot of the high tech moguls beleifs.
I think the Dems should stop taking a knife to a gun fight and heavily publcise Musk's basically wanting to make himself some kind of Transhuman God, which would strike the vast majority of Americnas as batcrap crazy.

As long as he does it with his own technology, I wager he's just as likely to brick his own brain rather than achieve godhood.

Again, where are the economists? Where are the forensic accountants? Where are the process engineers?

Budget to fat? → Software engineers.
ATC shorthanded? → Software engineers.
Government to big? → Software engineers.

That we use computers ubiquitously to implement policy and provide service doesn't mean that all you need in order to fiddle with those services and policies are people who know how the computers work.

And worse, the toddlers don't know how the computers work.

I believe that Musk's drug use has convinced him that Grok is destined to become Roko's Basilisk once it is fed with all the Data in the World, and that through his work he will be one of the few humans who will be allowed to transcend into a VR upload instead of a servitor minion like everyone else. Alternatively, he will be trying to transfer his mind into one of the results of sending out his sperm, making sure they will be only males - that is why he is so pissed that one turned out to be not happy as a man, making her unsuitable as a vessel for his mind.

He never going to stop on his own - he will need to be stopped.
