Musk vs Trump

Which one will the MAGA supporters try to assassinate first?

  • Trump

  • Musk

Musk, imo, falls either on the side of too important or too insignificant to kill for the MAGAs.
But they gave Trump all their support and money, twice, so if he shafts them again, they won't give him a third-time's-the-charm.
Don't underestimate the stupidity of MAGA/Trump supporters. They re-elected a convicted felon, pathological liar, extremely narcissistic nut job who incited an attack on the Capitol in order to stop an election he legally and fairly lost.

Thomson Reuters is a cyber security firm hired by the DOD to prevent social engineering attacks. Reuters is a news organization that is an entirely different company that was never hired by the DOD. It's stuff like this that makes me say Elon Musk is a con artist who has no idea what he's doing. Elon Musk is about as smart as a wilted head of cabbage & Trump isn't any brighter.

Both Elon Musk and Donald Trump are frauds, which makes it hard to know whether this is Trump deceptively or ignorantly reporting what Musk has said, or accurately reporting Musk's ignorance.

Either way, cutting the budget for Pentagon cybersecurity would be a colossally stupid and dangerous move.

Only if the objective is to keep the Pentagon secure from hacking.

If, on the other hand, you want your friends Putin, Xi and Kim to have access to the Pentagon's data it's a very sensible move.

Regarding the Reuters/Thompson Reuters "mix up", IMO it's only going to be a matter of time before the MAGA crowd end up harassing some poor doctor over a Paediatrician/Paedophile "mix up".

and by the way, could you imagine if kamala harris had won and she kept showing up to stuff with some toddler to use as a human shield while he's just picking his nose and wiping it on stuff and being annoying

where is the outrage about that, conservatards

Right. It stops being stupid but it continues to be dangerous, where danger is reckoned from the point of view of normal people.

Pizza Gate may have just been the beginning.

Elon Musk insists he has a public mandate for whatever he wants to do, according to his all-caps VOX POPULI, VOX DEI dog-whistle to this Twitter fan base to whom he seems to regularly lie. And he seems to think all the votes for Donald Trump in the election were somehow votes for him.

Musk buying Wisconsin election.

Schrödinger's Musk:

OK, then. Let's accept that Muskrat isn't a DOGE employee, and has no more authority than any presidential advisor. Questions:
  1. By what authority does Muskrat get to direct the DOGE Traitor Tots to do anything at all?
  2. Who the ◊◊◊◊ is in charge of DOGE actually? And why don't we hear from them once in a while?
  3. Presidential advisors don't have hire/fire power over anyone. So WTAF with millions of civil service staff, Elon??!
  4. Trump's Chief of Staff has management power over all advisors. Why hasn't she put Muskrat back in his cage by now?
  5. Trump has no compunction instantly dismissing his staff who fail to meet even his pathetic standards. So why doesn't somebody just arrest Musk and be done with this nonsense ASAP?

The disclaimer is likely to be evaluated as possibly a legal fiction. Advisors are one thing, and the President can generally have as many of those as he wants, and whoever he deems fit, as long as all they do is advise. But wielding actual executive power invokes the Appointments Clause and its subordinate legislation. Musk is either acting ultra vires or he is an officer subject to the laws regarding executive officers. I doubt a court is going to simply look past Musk's bragging and strutting.

Exactly. So the real question is: What punishment is Musk liable for given the severity of his breaches of the law? Also, who is going to arrest and charge him? Federal police?
