'Never seen this': Trump says CBS 'must be investigated' for 'illegal' Harris interview

Former President Donald Trump on Wednesday lobbed a baseless accusation against CBS's "60 Minutes" over the program's taped interview with Vice President Kamala Harris.

Writing on his Truth Social platform, the former president accused "60 Minutes" of deceptively editing its interview to present Harris in a better light.

"I’ve never seen this before, but the producers of 60 Minutes sliced and diced ('cut and pasted') Lyin’ Kamala’s answers to questions, which were virtually incoherent, over and over again, some by as many as four times in a single sentence or thought, all in an effort, possibly illegal as part of the 'News Division,' which must be licensed, to make her look 'more Presidential,' or a least, better," Trump wrote.

He continued:

"It may also be a major Campaign Finance Violation. This is a stain on the reputation of 60 Minutes that is not recoverable - It will always remain with this once storied brand. I have never heard of such a thing being done in 'News.' It is the very definition of FAKE NEWS! The public is owed a MAJOR AND IMMEDIATE APOLOGY! This is an open and shut case, and must be investigated, starting today!"

I can't stand playing Cards Against Humanity, but the company who makes it is a hilarious bunch of people. They're selling an election-themed expansion pack and giving the proceeds to blue voters who publicly apologize for not having voted in 2020.

They admit it shouldn't be legal, but it is, because their expansion pack is also a registered Super PAC and under Citizen's United doing exactly this is explicitly allowed.

How do you know who didn’t vote?
We formed a Super PAC and bought the personal voting records of every American citizen from a data broker we found on the internet. It’s pretty ****** up.

Every single prediction I've seen has said it's currently a category 4 with no signs of increasing in power as it hits land. That doesn't excuse DeSantis but lets not just make stuff up, eh?
 
I find the way Trump is playing politics with Hurricanes Helene and Milton to be totally disgusitng..and dangerous.
I used to think a second trump turn would destroy Democracy in the US.forget that, a second Trump term would destroy the US, period.

START A GODDAMN THREAD if you want to predict a civil war and actually DISCUSS it instead of just dropping it randomly into every discussion.

Don't bother responding unless you can do it in at least a vague attempt at proper spelling, grammar, formatting, and capitalization.
