Merged Trump shot in PA??

You have to give it to the man, in a situation where most people would be in a funk he kept his head and promptly got his arm around the blonde female secret service agent.

You seriously compare the "performance" of somebody after an assassination attempt with the "performance" of somebody in a debate? You are aware that the contrast between the two situations is stark, aren't you?
 
Only one way to settle this: see how Biden reacts after the next attempt on his life.
No elections until then, it wouldn't be fair.

I'm sure we won't have to wait for long.

It takes more than a minute after the shooting before the secret service agents let him get up and he is in a position to make his gesture. I assume that would have been when they were told that the shooter had been neutralized. At this point, the MAGA crowd behind the stage get on their feet, too. And Trump tells the agents that he wants to get his shoes, for some reason, before they help him down the stairs.
But feel free to consider Bunker Boy to be a hero because he raises his fist.

The clip also shows the MAGA crowd starting to make threatening gestures at the media people, i.e. the camera.
 
The shooter was apparently wearing a "Demolition Ranch" t-shirt. They're a right wing, pro gun group.

Why is no one calling this domestic terrorism?

Less political mass shootings such as school shootings by deranged children have been prosecuted as terrorism. Riots have been caller terrorism. Why not this?

That’s what I was thinking. Second amendment types are always saying they need their guns because they might have to get rid of the government. Here is a ex and possibly future president who was involved in an insurrection. Wouldn’t this qualify?

WaPo reports that "shooter is down" was audible from the SS before they got Trump back on his feet.

Well, I suppose you could, but why use a less precise word when you can call it an attempted assassination? I don't seem to remember the word terrorism being used in past assassination attempts. And since the shooter is dead, exactly which laws might be used to prosecute him becomes an academic question.
 
There are some seriously educated people on this forum, I won't try to name them as they are way above my pay grade, but clearly there are odds in play from 130 yards that Donald has his ear pierced.
This may be the most extraordinary event inhuman history.
I am incredibly pleased he survived for the sake of the world. But this is a statistically impossible happening?
Is it like the precise measure of the cosmological constant?
Who will ever know.
