Merged Trump shot in PA??

Well, yes. I'm sure we'll learn more about the shooter soon. One thing I'm highly confident of is that he was acting alone. There may be some blame of the Secret Service for allowing this to happen, but I'm sure it wasn't intentional on their part. Apparently the secret service and police had their own snipers. I wonder if they mistakenly thought he was one of their own?

I'm betting the SS already knew that the shooter had been neutralized (he was killed within seconds) and had informed Trump of that. Yes, I don't think he was risking anything by raising his fist.
 
I think people have been ruined by modern television and movies into thinking there must always be a "twist", that nothing is ever simple and obvious, that there's always a much more interesting complicated story behind everything. And whoever figures out the most entertaining complicated story wins, somehow.
 
I want to know more, since this is not that easy to spin a great story for Trump.

If the shooter was a Leftie, the weak, degenerate, emasculated Lefties are much better with a gun than the MAGA world says.

I'm sure many will say it's a MK-ULTRA thing to make this work, ideologically.

You'd lose that bet. They killed the shooter, but in those first minutes they had no idea if the guy was alone. Certainly none of the security detail could assume that. Trumps an idiot, he took an unnecessary risk for a photo-op. That's not bravery, it's nuts.

New York Post identifies the alleged gunman as Thomas Crooks, a 20 year old graduate of Bethel Park High School, which is about 40 miles away from the location of the rally.

I haven't been able to get a good number for the distance, so I don't know how very hard it was.
Some reports say that Trump turned his head just before the shot, and if he hadn't, it would have been a headshot.

So probably a very good shooter, but not with access to the right kind of equipment.

I agree about the moment after the shot and as Trump is being helped back to his feet; they would never sound the all-clear if one person was stopped.

But the Secret Service should have been monitoring every place with a conceivable line of sight on the President. They didn't and as a result Trump is going to be re-elected. That is the huge failure. Seriously, some 20-year-old kid found a hole in their defense?
