Why I should vote for Trump?

Yeah, since the ice sheets (non-moving glaciers) are melted back to expose where the Vikings dropped their cool stuff, that means something. The ice sheet must have been at the same level it is now. So yeah, we're looking 1500 years into the past where the items were found. To me, that means the ice sheet increased in size at some point for some reason and now it's back to where it was 1500 years ago. Perhaps we're currently reversing "Global Cooling" which was a thing in the 1970's.

Off topic, but it's maddening to see these uninformed arguments over and over again. I'm sure it is useless, but let me attempt to explain to you that global climate is *GLOBAL* and therefore whatever happened at one particular place at one time is irrelevant to the big picture. So if it was abnormally warm at one mountain pass 1500 years ago for a few years, that in no way suggests that the planet was experiencing global warming.
And 'global cooling' was *not* a thing in the 70s. I was alive for that story, and it was a single article that of course got a lot of press but it was not a mass consensus of scientists, it never went anywhere, and now it is just fodder for denialists who don't understand climate change. The irony is that the authors of that story were correct in the sense that based on solar cycles, the earth should be in a cooling phase. However, our interference with nature is Trumping (got Trump in there :) ) that factor big time so the earth is still rapidly warming.

That's interesting. So you consider everyone that supports Trump "filthy"? How about Black voters that support Trump? Would you say "those filthy Black voters that support Trump are scum"?

Careful, your Swastikas are showing...
Anyone who supports the piece of **** is a traitor and, yes, scum.

What's interesting is that Craig4 never said or implied anything about "Black voters", only Trump and his supporters. He made no mention of specific Trump supporters at all. That was all you.

Careful, your intellectual dishonesty is showing....

About the only reason I can think of for voting Trump is to say FU to the system.

Trump won in 2016 mainly because Hillary Clinton was seen as part of the system that many are fed up with. It didn't matter that Trump was a nut case as long as he could shake things up.

The Democrats haven't improved their selection process. It's hard to believe that the best they can put up is a candidate who is so old that there are genuine concerns about whether he could outlive another Presidency. Meanwhile, the system is busy trying to take away the voters' choice for Republican candidate.

It appears that the stage is being set up for another FU vote.

Trump is 3 and change years younger than Biden, which means in 2024, he will be older than Biden was in 2020.

Have you heard the Orange Weakling speak? Do you really think he sounds better than Biden?

Have you seen him shuffle around? Does he look like he can ride a bike or go on a hike with his family?

There are legitimate questions regarding Biden's health and age, but let's not pretend that the ORange Weakling doesn't have the same questions and host of his own.

Trump used a golf cart when he was 70 to go 700 yards while other world leaders walked in Sicily in 2017.
President Trump chose to ride in a golf cart while his foreign counterparts took a walk through Taormina, Sicily, on Saturday during the Group of Seven summit.

The Times of London reported the six other world leaders — from Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Italy and Japan — walked 700 yards to take a group photo at a piazza in a hilltop town. The U.S. leader decided to wait until he could get a golf cart.

Trump was late for the photo, but joined the other world leaders during the walk down from the piazza.

Why are you calling them "filthy black voters"?

That's pretty racist.

I don't know if the Republicans would have come up with a better candidate but the legal system is giving him so much free publicity that nobody else gets a look in.

I'm not saying that Trump is a good candidate in any way shape or form. He is terrible. Voting for him is purely a protest against the Hobson's choices that the primaries put to the voters every 4 years.

Jaysus! Gad Saad is as “compelling” as Dave Rubin is “witty and intelligent”. In both cases they are in minus numbers. In fact, if there was an absolute zero of charm and insight, Gad Saad and Dave Rubin would be beneath that. Yes, that means they are both impossibly hideous and stupid.

By the way here is the same creep insisting that he is not obsessed with Sam Harris:

Saad is such a straight player that he tweeted to Narendra Modi looking for an Indian visa to escape the Canadian "dictatorship" because of the Canadian police response to the truck rioters. Yeah, he's describing a democracy as a dictatorship to a neo-nazi.

I mean they shutter refineries to monopolize markets and reduce competition.

Capitalism and free markets are a wonderful thing. That is when there is true competitive markets. Companies throughout history attempt in various ways to reduce those competitive forces. They buy out competition. Create vertical and horizontal monopolies.
They make backroom agreements with competitors not to compete and divvy up markets.

There are laws against many of these actions, ie: Sherman Antitrust Act, but often those laws are ignored and not enforced. Especially with the energy markets. Lest we forget Enron's manipulation of the electricity markets. There is significant evidence that oil refining capacities were reduced specifically for this purpose.

Problem with capitalism is that every time it is introduced to a market the number of entities operating as sellers decreases over time. When you reduce or eliminate rules governing the use of capital (remember, the one rule of capitalism is that the owners of capital can do what they want with it) the market devolves to monopoly or cartel over time.

ftfy.

And thanks to the undemocratic FPTP-WTA system used in presidential elections, voters have no other choice.

Yes, Biden and the Democrats generally suck. Trump and the Republicans suck far worse and do irreparable harm whenever they have power. I'm not going to pretend they are the same.

And yes, the electoral college as it exists sucks. But, it's what we've got. Ignoring it won't make it go away. I have been trying to sell my neighbors and family on Ranked Choice Voting for our local and state governments, but I know the EC isn't going anywhere in my lifetime.

First - this would only be true of completely unregulated laissez faire capitalism
Second - do you have any supporting examples for your assertion?
