Mitch McConnell's Battery Ran Out

But remember, It's Biden who's old and on his last leg!
The maximum number of people that can possibly exist in a government who are too old and showing it is not 1.

It's 4. OK, actually, it's... like... a lot... especially in a political culture where that generation has had a death-grip on power since before most of the population were born and has consistently used it to make sure nobody else but themselves ever got in again, forcing a whole generation or two behind theirs to essentially be skipped over in political representation and never really be represented in their lives.

Not long after the Evil Turtle had his episode in front of the cameras, Feinstein, back inside without so much attention being paid, started reading a speech when it was time to just vote for something, Y/N. And this was a few days after the latest article on people inside the Biden campaign working to hide his problems just like Feinstein's & McConnell's people have been. Trump, also, has clearly lost some of his capacity of years gone by, but his symptoms are such that nobody tries to hide it; they just let it all hang out and be seen as just Trump being Trump. The Feinstein case remains the strangest one, because now the secret's out and there's still no mechanism to get rid of her. Probably the one that did the most harm to the country was Ginsburg.

We live in a geriacracy.

CNN is a terrible website so I haven't clicked your story, but in the Twitter video above, he didn't fall. Did he really fall?

Not at the event where he had the freezing episode. But absence seizures do not make someone fall down. They usually only result in injuries if the person is doing something like driving.

I bet Mitch still has a driver's license. This country is awful about making sure the elderly are actually physically and mentally capable of safely driving.

Imagine gramps taking a 30 second mental vacation while driving a car doing 70 mph on the freeway.

Here in Spain over 70's have to undertake a comprehensive medical and sight test (including hand/eye coordination) every 2 years

there are only two explanation for Mitch freezing up:

either he is just an NPC in The Simulation, and his code glitched

-OR-

an attempt to free him from The Matrix by the last surviving humans failed.

As to be one or the other

Just as an aside - you aren't the only one, NZ is also appalling at allowing old people who can barely move or think retain their driving licence.

I just found this on another forum I frequent.

I agree. My late FIL had an at fault accident w/injuries because he could barely move his legs due to diabetic neuropathy. His license was suspended until he passed a driving exam. He failed 3 times and barely passed on his 4th try which was the final chance before it would have been permanently revoked. Thankfully, once he 'proved' he was still capable of passing the test, he stopped driving voluntarily.

He had a sudden realisation that it was true - he has been an obstructive, manipulative, crabby old **** all his life, and nobody loves him.
I'm taking this and running with it. Hilarious!Beautiful sentiment to start my Saturday with.

Honestly if someone like him turned around and had a moment of public penance as death's tender embrace lurked over them, that'd be a really pleasant surprise that might actually do a smidgen of good. Not holding my breath, but it'd be nice.

And again today apparently. 30 second freeze when a reporter asked if he was planning to seek re-election, before he was led away.
