You know for a fact that he was dishonorably discharged? That generally means a conviction for a felony and a lengthy prison sentence (its actually quite rare and hardly the only type of discharge other than honorable).
 
Rolling Stone is reporting that FBI sources are saying that hundreds of social media posts by Mauricio Garcia show he was highly sympathetic to neo-Nazi and white supremacist beliefs, as well as suggesting he was an incel.

The article I just linked to says he was discharged after three months for mental health reasons, which I'm guessing would be considered a medical discharge.

Various photos making the rounds show him as having had SS bolts and a swastika tattoo.

'But he doesn't even have a white name!' Yeah, neither does Rafael Cruz, and he's pretty chummy with white supremacists. There were even gay Nazis in Germany (before the Night of Long Knives, 'I didn't think the leopards would eat my face' knows no limits).

"Hispanic" as an ethnicity seems to be largely a U.S. construct, from what I can tell. What makes someone of Spanish ancestry "non white", as opposed to descendants of people from Italy or southern France?

This might not help you understand any better, but in many places in the US having Italian or even Irish ancestry means you're 'non white' too. White supremacists tend to 'ratchet down' what 'white' means to make it more exclusive as they gain power. It's hard to have an 'other' to blame without those 'others' around.

If the "waht parr" crowd ever got their all white utopia, they'd soon be slaughtering each other over innie and outie belly buttons and whether their ear lobes are attached or not.

In fact, maybe we should wall off one of those expendable, rectangular states out west and tell them it's a reservation for white supremacists to build their perfect society as an example to the world, with all the unrestricted firearms they can carry in with them (in addition to the ones already there).

Seems to me that we could reduce mass shootings significantly if we just send a Fleshlight to every man in the country.
