But it's going to be just fine, because Texas Governor Abbott, Lt. Gov Patrick, Attorney General Paxton, and U.S. Rep. Keith Self have all offered their thoughts and prayers!

Damn Sen. Roland Gutierrez just unloaded on Abbott and Patrick on MSNBC stating “I don’t care about their thoughts and I don’t care about their prayers” and that they “can go to hell.”

Another day, another mass shooting and people dead. But at least we got our God-given right to carry a gun! Yeeeeeeehaaawwwwww. Remember, folks, an armed society is a polite society, more guns mean more safety, guns don't kill people; people do, and good guys with a gun countermand bad guys with a gun.

Any other stupid sayings from the pro-gun crowd?

A police officer, not a security guard or 'good guy with a gun', heard the shooting and killed the shooter.

But it's going to be just fine, because Texas Governor Abbott, Lt. Gov Patrick, Attorney General Paxton, and U.S. Rep. Keith Self have all offered their thoughts and prayers! And Abbott "offered the full support of the State of Texas." Except for actually doing anything about gun violence, of course.

They can take their "thoughts and prayers" and shove them where the sun don't shine. Those don't fix a missing loved one. Jerks.

If I was to shoot a gun in my yard I'd quickly be arrested.

Also, how did we go from "We have him surrounded" to "He could be anywhere"?
Oh yes indeed. This is what society has come to it's just beyond ridiculous.

During an interview with CNN, Rep. Keith Self called for prayer in light of the mass shooting, which included injured victims as young as 5 years old.
When a CNN reporter asked what his response was to people who feel "prayers aren't cutting it," the congressman said, "Well, those are people that don't believe in an almighty god who is absolutely in control of our lives."
"I'm a Christian. I believe that he is," Self said.

So, the almighty who is absolutely in control of our lives is then responsible for killing all the people, the kids, the five year olds...

Maybe someone can arrest him or shoot him?

BTW, is anything known about gun control in heaven?

Anyone remember that the thread's title used to be ironic. As if there would be a mass shooting every day! Back then people also used to say, somewhat tongue-in-cheek, "which one?" Yet they literally do seem to be every day and sometimes more than one.

I wasn't sure if that was simply down to more focus on the shootings than before, but apparently gun deaths, both suicides and homicides, seem to have risen. In fact murders seem to have risen sharply, compared with suicides which seem to be trending steadily upwards.

And that's just the death. Is anything known about the full number of gun casualties incl. the injured ones?

Wow, nearly 50,000 gun deaths a year, more than 40% being non-suicides.

The figure I had mind was 30,000 with more than 20,000 being suicides.

Has Bogative determined the melanin content of this mass shooters skin yet? That's the really important factor after all.

No mention of the shooter's ethnicity from authorities or the MSM that I'm aware of. Which is strange for a shooting that has this high of a body count.

I'm starting to think that the focus will be on the weapon used rather than skin color or any potential manifestoes that was left behind.

There is a video of his body out there.
