A typical tu quoque involves charging your accuser with whatever it is you've just been accused of rather than refuting the truth of the accusation—an evasive strategy that may or may not meet with success.

He's an American citizen, Walrus. Has been for nearly 40 years now. Technically, he has been an American citizen longer than any American born after 1985. :rolleyes:

The worse news is, CPAC has made it clear that the conservative electorate are upset at the Fox anchors who thought the election fraud story was false but reported it anyway - but not because of the "reported it anyway" part, rather because of the "thought it was false" part. As Bannon has made clear, disbelief in the narrative is a thought crime that makes them traitors, even though they still willingly disseminated it.

Steve Bannon is all about manipulating the media.
“The Democrats don’t matter,” Bannon reportedly said in 2018. “The real opposition is the media. And the way to deal with them is to flood the zone with ****.”...Bannon articulated it about as well as anyone can. The press ideally should sift fact from fiction and give the public the information it needs to make enlightened political choices. There's no doubt people like Hannity and Carlson buy into this. Apparently Rupert Murdoch has some concerns.

Murdoch has lost control of the monster he helped to create,
He needed to watch more horror movies. The Monsters always turns on it's creator in the end.
 
And the fiasco of last night Carlson whitewash of Jan.6th is not helpiing. Even most conservatives are calling it BS.
 
New court filings show Rupert Murdoch stated multiple times that he believed Dominion had not engaged in any kind of election rigging and confirmed he had never seen any evidence otherwise.

In a Jan 21, 2021 email to CEO Suzanne Scott, RM said "Maybe Sean and Laura went to far.
All very well for Sean to tell you he was in despair about Trump but what did he tell his viewers?"

If we are getting this amount of damaging information contained in these court filings that we have already, you can bet there is even worse to be revealed during the actual trial.
