He's not a billionaire anymore. For some reason it makes me happy knowing he's lost a decent amount of his wealth.

It should also remembered, net worth does not mean 'money in the bank.' It's the estimated value of a person's assets including estimated market values. What would 'x' be worth if they sold it tomorrow? For instance the Addidas deal. I don't think Addidas 'paid' him $1.5 billion in one lump sum. The $1.5 billion probably represented the value of the deal over the life of the contract. But if you're calculating someone's net worth, you count what a deal like that is worth over the life of the agreement.

As I saw donald trump explain once on the Letterman Show -- !!! -- one of the best things about long term deals is, you can borrow today on the basis of the estimated long term value of the deal.

Likely crashed out of the manic phase. This is not necessarily any better for those that have to deal with him.

1.) He is still responsible for employing a lot of people.
2.) He has kids.
3.) The possibility of self harm here is serious. I would not care much except how that impacts those first two points.

If he was still in a manic phase, he would not be trying to hide. His decisions would not be any different then they were leading up to the current situation.

Those with bipolar don't just stop making bad decisions and then get on with life. They crash hard out of the manic phase and become depressed.

According to entertainment news sites, friends and associates have been trying to get Ye back into in-patient treatment especially after his shall-we-say 'performance' on the Alex Jones Show. Family and friends say he goes off the deep end about once a year. The rest of the time he's 'fine.'
