• Quick note - the problem with Youtube videos not embedding on the forum appears to have been fixed, thanks to ZiprHead. If you do still see problems let me know.

Alien Visitation Contact Proof

It's not a brown out, it's a power cut. It's not an electrical arc (not within view of your camera anyway).

The light does not travel. Previously you mocked youngsters for their video editing skills compared to your cutting-edge-forty-years-ago skills with 4000 series logic chips. Maybe if your video skills were better you could analyse the video for us. It seems you can't.

A power cut yes but a craft caused it the same craft was scanning the ground the electrician told me he's been out to many of these instances..

Believe him, not me, I supplied a video what you see or don't see is down to you

I see a lot of detail so did he...

You do realise face book messenger is run by a social media person not an electrician...
You mean your power company doesn't drag technical staff away from their jobs to deal with with customer enquiries? Whatever next?

And what you mentioned does not cause the sound, come up with something new or I won't reply ... an electrician disagrees with your theory...

I bow before your electrician and kick quietly under the table my my 30+ years in audio electronics.

That's the opinion of an electrician with 35 years of experience...

I guess you know better than he does in your professional skeptic experience?...
You found another true believer. Nice. Since you've convinced yourself the power company sends out electricians who discover all the time faults are actually caused by aliens, why are the power company not trying to solve that problem and just blaming bats? Are they in league with the aliens?

I don't know why we are being visited I don't know why this is happening, if you could get away from the electrical aspect and think about it logically

Light doesn't cause that audio sound (power was out except for battery backup cam and led red light)

That audio sound you hear, show me anything that sounds like that... that's an entire question on it's own

Maybe thousands of people seeing UFOs in the sky and all those people who claim encounters every year are lying and delusional... all these documentaries are fake, the government faked UAPs and are asking pilots to come forward for no reason

All this is happening, but you expect me to believe this was a brown out when an electrician says no, I have 20 years in electronics, I say no...

Only a skeptic would argue ;)

I don't claim light caused the sound. I think a failed attempt to restore the mains did.

It's the type of glitch you get in all sorts of recorders when audio data gets corrupted and then continues through the signal path getting filtered and processed as if it were real audio. It could have presented as a boring click, but happened to get processed into a more curious sound.

To a first approximation, yes, all those documentaries are fake. Or rather weak nonsense dressed up as wish-fulfilling stories that aren't true. We've covered a wide range of UFO claims here over the years. Many of those you brought up were familiar. But they have an absolutely unblemished track record of not turning out to be alien spaceships. It's fascinating to discover how people manage to fool themselves, typically by failing to judge how far away an object is, how fast it's moving and in which direction.

I literally wrote it was not a brown out. Your attention to detail is letting you down again, as it does with your imagining you see a beam travelling and focusing when that simply isn't in the video.

Ok so what is it you think it was? The power coming on again?...

No, the lights don't flash, you can't power up 1 bulb and nothing else to make it fit your theory, my light sources light up the tree no light source of mine did this

Call power SA, south Australia, give them the time stamp and request a freedom of information request find out what happened... I'm not confused as to what this was as I ruled out the relay powering on (all lights including everything in the home would light up, they are smart lights)

They did not, I was not awaken by lights coming on but by the power company

Facebook messenger and agl is run by chimps not people, they were clueless

You never answered my question from here:
http://www.internationalskeptics.com/forums/showpost.php?p=13873462&postcount=239

Why does your video linked below go from 18 seconds back to 16?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qm_2zaSZljs&t=2s

Your 60s raw footage does not?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SDq5ZTa9PoQ

Are you editing/changing/manipulating these videos for some reason?

NO I am NOT

This is real I'm not making money from it, I'm here to tell people this is going on and it's real!

The video goes back because ... I don't freaking know

A bug? No clue...

https://drive.google.com/file/d/156Pz86P3LSJZR52lt3BBZZpZ52El2bQD/view?usp=drivesdk

That's the raw file, I can't even play it because it says I have a codec missing and won't play I have to upload it to youtube to watch it...

And you think I'm manipulating it? I have the skills of a 3yr old when it comes to graphics, give me a soldering iron and a compiler and I'm good, give me a paint package or editing crap and I'll smash the screen in minutes I hate drawing anything ...

I wouldn't have a clue how to do this if I was to fake it...

I know you’re being tongue-in-cheek, but I’d really like the OP to consider just how much of a light and sound show a good-sized vehicle descending, hovering, and ascending on ion thrust alone would be. Hint: he wouldn’t be the only person to notice it on his street, or neighborhood, or city.

"Tongue-in-cheek"? Moi? I vuz just Asking Questions.

So, cjdelphi, in 3 days here and with over 130 posts you have yet to convince a single poster here on this little internet backwater discussion board that anything out of the ordinary occurred. Your arguments in favor of an alien encounter have been thoroughly refuted. Do you expect that to change? You are merely presenting the same few arguments over and over. What do you really expect to accomplish here now? Do you expect some miraculous break-through where one or more of us will suddenly see the light and start supporting you? Would it not be more productive for you to take your so-called evidence somewhere that like-minded people would fall all over themselves discussing the minutae of your "encounter"?

How did you create this video clip:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qm_2zaSZljs

If that's all you can say about them then I would lay bets that you didn't watch them.

Not at all. We just require evidence, not speculation. You have not presented evidence. You've presented the same old grainy videos and blurry photos that we've been seeing for decades. If aliens really are visiting us, why are there no truly clear photos of them? Everybody today carries around a high-fidelity still and video camera in their pockets and purses. Why can no-one catch a clear image of an alien?
I'll tell you why. Because in all of the clear images, we can see what they are. Aliens exist in the blurriness, in the indistinct nature of unclear images.

The internet.

Prior to the internet, someone had an episode of sleep paralysis and there was no-one to tell other than a few friends and family. Maybe a local newspaper or TV news. Today, you can post a blurry photo online and it can be seen by millions. There has been a massive expansion in the market in the last forty years. Of course people are going to exploit that.

Also, there is Robert Bigelow, the real estate and aerospace tycoon who is the money behind almost everything you've seen in the media about UFOs since the mid-90s. You want a conspiracy? There's a real one. Vallée, Hyneck, Puthoff, Bigelow, Reid, Elizondo, Kean. The Pentagon video leak can be traced back to them. The New York Times article can be traced back to them. AATIP can be traced back to them. Follow the money, CJ. It ends with Bigelow.

Arth, Arth, Arth!? I all your years here have you not yet learned that it is the very nature of all aliens to be blurry and grainy? That is the form in which they actually exist. The high res pics merely confirm this. The photos as posted are perfectly clear and you are seeing the aliens as they actually are.

You have one LED lamp which glowed a bit. It doesn't direct light at the tree. You don't know what brief malformed waveform appeared on the mains when a reconnection was attempted. You cannot say what random things might have begun to power up without noticeable effect. You just stick to your adamant but unsupported assertion that everything should have powered up or nothing at all. What we see is one of your LED lights giving a feeble glow.

I'm not making demands of a utility company on the other side of the planet just because the local guy with the extraordinary claims prefers to cling to those and not seek the mundane truth.

First line customer support not providing you with technical details does not imply they're in league with space aliens.

In the real universe, obeying the real laws of physics, accelerating the Starship Enterprise to one tenth of light speed (to reach Earth from the nearest star in 43 years, or over 100 years from the 10th nearest star system), takes an amount of energy equal to all the energy used by humans today per year, times a thousand. That's if its engines are 100% efficient at converting fuel mass to kinetic energy. If it's powered by fusion, it's more like 0.4% efficient, and requires over 85% of the ship's starting mass to be fuel. (And 85% of the remaining mass must also be fuel, if the ship wants to slow down from .1c when it reaches Earth.) For the shortest (4.3 light-year) trip, the ship's engines would have to be able to convert twice as much power as every nuclear and conventional power station on Earth, plus every petroleum powered vehicle on Earth, plus every petroleum powered kiln, oven, boiler, and home appliance on Earth, combined. And that's the slowest burn that reaches .1c, doubling the trip time to 86 years.

But sure, it's extracting energy from the power lines feeding your neighborhood. Makes perfect sense.

Maybe thousands of people seeing UFOs in the sky and all those people who claim encounters every year are lying and delusional...
Why do you ignore the "honestly mistaken" possibility, which is by far the most likely explanation?

Most people have no idea just how easily they can inadvertently fool themselves into believing something that is not true, especially if it's something they want to believe.
