FBI analyst Amy Vaughn testified on Wednesday that she found a digital onslaught of messages, mostly from Travis McMichael, in which he allegedly routinely used racial slurs to describe Black people and advocated violence against them.
In one instance, Vaughn testified that the 36-year-old McMichael posted on social media his reaction to a news report on a confrontation between two white people and two Black people, allegedly saying Black people needed to be made examples of.
"They’d be scraping up brain matter if this happened to my wife or daughter”

Vaughn said the FBI also uncovered numerous online posts from Bryan in which he allegedly expressed his resentment over a relationship his daughter developed with a Black man. In one post Vaughn read in court, Bryan allegedly wrote,

"This is the only thing I said I would never accept” and added, “If she does not give a f — about herself, why should we?"

This is true, unadulterated Good 'Ol Boy southern racism. The only thing these three are missing are the white robes with the pointy hoods!

You appear to be under some sort of wacky delusion that leads you to believe it is necessary to live in a place to know what it is like to live there. Well, I have some news for you. You see, there are these places called "libraries", and these things called "documentaries", both of which contain enough information to help anyone understand what places are like to live in.

Of course, if people like you have your way, most American children (especially the white ones in the south) will be precluded from learning about the violent, racist and slavery history of their own country, so you will end up with the bizarre situation where foreigners know more about American history than Americans.

Besides which, I have family that live in a number of places in the US, including the South (Occoquan VA, Paducah KY and Monroe LA), and have stayed with them on numerous occasions going right back to the late 1970s.

ETA: I'll bet I could at least hold my own against the average American in a pop quiz about the American Revolutionary War, the Civil War and the 1960's Civil Rights era.

Shortly after my wife and I moved to Greenville, there was a man murdered just a few miles from where we lived. He was driving his mini-van with his wife and two children aboard. Two semi-retarded good ol' boys driving down the same busy road took exception to the fact that he was black and his wife white. They harassed them for a while, shouting racist slurs out the window of the contractor truck they were driving. Finally, the dad pulled into a parking lot to get away from them, but they pulled into the next entrance and doubled back , pulling up near the van. The man got out and stood next to his van and asked something like, "what is your problem?" - and that's when one of them shot him from inside the truck. He died right there, in the parking lot - in front of his wife and his two young children. They caught the two in the truck within about a week, as I recall, hiding out in North Carolina. They'd committed murder along one of the busiest roads in Greenville County in a truck bearing the name of their company. Dumb as **** - and virulently racist. Go figure.

All things aside, at the beginning of the thread there were some "this isn't racism" posts None of those people will come back to eat their crow, obviously. It's nice to see the truth come out in all of its unedited glory.

I was initially against the federal prosecution just because I felt it wasn't needed. The one thing I am happy about, which probably wasn't intended, is getting all of these statements, texts and messages out in the open is it will make their prison time abso ******* lutely miserable. That makes me happy. Anything that makes these three racist dumbasses lives harder is awesome by me.

I agree. I'm against capital punishment, and do not actively wish them dead, and they're welcome to serve long sentences and die old men, but if the hugely disproportionately black prison population of Georgia finds them indigestible I would not mourn.

THIS! I share this sentiment... I hope the rest of their lives in prison are a living hell! They should live their lives in fear - it will give them some idea of the fear Arbery will have felt in the last few minutes of his life.

It also illustrates a side lesson we should never forget: The internet is forever.

These three morons will go into ad seg (administrative segregation) also called snitches and bitches. It's not a pleasant existence but they probably won't get shanked.

I've said this all along, how was this "incident" any different from a good old fashioned 1950s lynching? The only difference was that they didn't resort to "he looked at a white woman" and used "he stole tools."

It's completely different and that's just a dramatic hyperbole strawman as one of our race apologist will be along to tell you any minute now.

Video and social media.

That is all that is different.

I know it's dangerous to predict what juries will do. That said, in a hate crimes trial, being quoted as saying you wish all black people would die and then you kill a black person, well, I'm not loving their chances here.

But how do you know it's racism and not the anti-depressents talking?
