DIY experiment proving graviton is a particle

Fed up with words I checked my iPhone on a concrete slab directly on the ground. The accelerometer noise is of the order of +/-3 parts in a thousand (so stable to about 1 part in a 100 or 0.01g) and the absolute difference in vertical g measurement between two iPhones is about the same. So the noise is 20,000 times greater than the signal (Sun’s tidal force at the Earth) that you are attempting to detect a change in.

What are you talking about? I already measured the ground noise early December 2nd with the exact same order of magnitude:

Correction:

I just measured the ground noise right now for 172 seconds at 8:30 am EST and I get a standard deviation of: 3.8e-6 g.

Ok so here's the deal:

1) The Sun's tidal ratio on Earth is: 1.00017
http://hyperphysics.phy-astr.gsu.edu/hbase/tide.html

2) I will measure the standard deviation of the gravitational pull tonight at exactly 8:30 pm EST;

3) Sun's g: G*1.9885e30/(1496e8^2)/9.8 = 6e-4 g

4) If I get lesser than 3.8e-6 g / 1.00017 + 6e-4 g = 6.037993541098013e-4 g then I am right and it proves your GR is a longstanding hoax.

Period.

You have absolutely no idea how real science works, do you.

"In measuring the quality of experiments, repeatability and reproducibility are key."

Any result you get is merely the first step in a detailed process toward confirmation. You get a result, you publish the details, other scientists will attempt to repeat your experiment to see if your results are reproduceable.

You telling us that you got such and such a result is merely adding words to the already copious number of meaningless ones you have posted here.

Great. Just like it broke down in 2017 due to Bjarne's experiment. Or was that 2016? I forget.
At least there is less waiting for this one.

While we wait, how exactly does your theory account for observed effects like time dilation and gravity waves? You know, the things GR predicted before they were observed?

First, the gravitational waves originated by Heaviside and were plagiarized by Einstein.

Second, here's my manuscript:
https://www.fornux.com/files/pdf/Finite_Theory.pdf

Third, just the Newtonian gravitational acceleration + gravitational time dilation are sufficient to explain the light bending and perihelion precession.

Fourth, the correction to Newton consists of comoving gravitational superimposed layers which explains the galactic rotation curve perfectly well.

Fifth, I'm about to integrate gravitomagnetism into Finite Theory because it's based on time dilation as well.

All this with an iPhone App?

I'm still trying to understand how he expects to, using an analogy, measure the windspeed relative to the ground from a balloon floating in the air just by sticking his hand into the air.

I'm trying to figure out how he hopes to "aim" an accelerometer at an object.

Forget the "aiming" thing, this was misleading. I'll just measure the overall order of magnitude of the standard deviation of the ground noise tonight at 8:30 pm.

Tomorrow I'll measure the sky noise as well at 8:30 am and 8:30 pm just to confirm.

Well yeah, it's complicated because it's wrong.

But what you call "complicated" really is: the stress-energy-pressure tensors (linear algebra) and the spin-1 and 2 human-made mathematical framework. Next.
Drivel. GR has been experimentally shown to be true many times.

You mislead us all by bringing up the "aiming" nonsense?

so you are aiming?

Yes, you are aiming.

Well, strictly speaking, philippeb8 did not say he would be "aiming" at the ground or the sky. Just that he would be measuring them. The question will be how does he know which he is measuring without aiming in their general direction.

Nope. The question will be how anyone comes up with such nonsense.

In his yooboob video (sans audio) he shows us his phone in motion blur, turns from that camera, fiddles with it in ways we cannot see, then shows us his phone again in blurovision.

This is then proof of....something.

WTF?

I suggest measuring absolute amplitude during the day. Automatically. Every second.
Then extract 24h frequency with Furrier analysis. Should get you most data out of the noise.

Never mind the aiming, what is he hoping to achieve by measuring the standard deviation of the accelerometer's noise?

What is it with 'physics renewers' and their hatred for General relativity?

Anyway, how does your theory explain observed phenomena like time dilation and gravitational waves?

It's too complicated for them to understand.

Well yeah, it's complicated because it's wrong.

There's a lot more to the differential geometry of pseudo-Riemannian manifolds than linear algebra. Spin doesn't come up in Einstein's general theory of relativity until you start trying to reconcile GR with quantum mechanics, which is where gravitons enter the picture. As for "human-made mathematical framework", all mathematics known to humans was "made" by humans.

I'm trying to figure out how he hopes to "aim" an accelerometer at an object.
Sounds as though he intends to wave the accelerometer around until it complies with a result he wants.

Never mind the aiming, what is he hoping to achieve by measuring the standard deviation of the accelerometer's noise?
Sounds as though he'll be happy to measure noise (or anything else) so long as one of the numbers he gets can be made to coincide with a number to be predicted after making the measurement.

Period.

Alright here are the aforementioned predictions and here is the data I collected this morning:
