Cont: Corona Virus Conspiracy Theories Part IV

One of the funniest things about pseudo-skeptics is this "trust the Science™" thing. It should be something resevered to autistic Swedish teenagers, but these clowns are just so proud of their ability to replicate nonsense they were told in school.

Some people, like myself, actually worked in Science™ and know how that works in the 21st century.

Could you please detail this work you did in "Science™", particularly focusing on how these endeavors make you a greater authority on medical science than, well, medical scientists?

I mean, we're all now well aware that you are the smartest person on this forum, not to mention one of the smartest people anywhere, but the above sounds remarkably similar to something that would be said by someone who is both narcissistic and completely full of **** - someone prone to telling self-aggrandizing lies in an effort to hide their insecurities behind a façade of superiority. I'm just asking for some context to help me to differentiate between those types of narcissistic pretenders spreading ******** in an attempt to hide their own mediocrity, and the Real Deal® scientific geniuses such as yourself.

Gotta make sure I don't follow any false prophets, don't cha know?

The problem you have here in asking such a factual question is expecting any answer that you might get to contain any facts..

Well, science has its shady side, and there might be room on someone's staff for a shameless propagandist.

Fonebone's image is certainly an image of something but not what someone necessarily wants. Imagine you're plotting where a cannonball might fall in a field. If you're in the scrap business it might suggest how far to look to pick up all the strays. If you are looking for the best place to build your magazine you would do better to crumple it up to wipe your bum when the barrage begins.
Absolutely. The data points are determined by what you are trying to visualize. If you are trying to determine the most reasonable estimate for the cannon ball's normal travel distance, then you basically plot the numbers of balls vs the distance they were measured to travel. However, you also need to specify the charges, weights, sizes, angle of fire, weather conditions and any other anomalies that may have added to, or subtracted to the accuracy of the data, as plotted. If you want any of that other information included, you will need to make another graph, or even more, to include any such factors. Many graphs will also throw out any suspect data (i.e., cannonball landed on another one already in the field, had an elastic collision and bounced off. Both balls were removed from the data bank). The point is, the more precise you are trying to measure anything under different conditions, the selection of data collected is determined by the prerequisite study of those factors prior to including them on the representative graph. If you have to individually re-examine the entire field of data points for any purpose, you are doing, or have done, something very wrong.

You are a liar. You've been shown repeatedly that every point, hyperbolic, USA-centric and CT that you've made above is either a lie, irrelevant or too ridiculous to consider...
As I said, you are a liar and you should be downright ashamed of yourself.

I'll try give up lying as a New Year's resolution, but is Kit Knightly a liar, and others who think outside the box liars, too?

Kit Knightly may not be the greatest critical thinking skeptic of the 21st Century, nor Kary Mullis, Glenn Greenwald, Childlike Empress, Julian Assange, Aubrey Marcus, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., Russell Brand, Edward Snowden, Jimmy Dore, or Mattias Desmot, among others who have fought to expose the truth.

For that honor, I posthumously nominate George Carlin who predicted our alleged plague of viruses 11 years before Covid-19 became a cause celebre.

People who are one or more of stupid, ignorant, deliberately lying or severely deluded are the last people anyone with any sense looks to to "expose the truth" about anything.

In the meantime, our homegrown anti-vax loons continue to struggle with reality, geography this time - https://www.theguardian.com/world/2...centre-in-freedom-march-through-milton-keynes

How many of these "rallies" end up invading the wrong building? FFS, the "serving legal papers" eejits tried to do this to Alan Shearer recently, but went to the wrong house. I think they got the right area, but...

Frankie Boyle (a comedian in these regions on his BBC 2 show) showed some footage of some of those eejits invading a hospital with some "legal papers" and spouting some utter braindead nonsense about the pope, who I distinctly recall was boss of the NHS (not).

Just goes to show what kind of "research" these morons are capable of. That is why I never do "my own research". I leave that to experts in the field.

Seeing what they put on Telegram is... instuctive.

A lot are obviously deeply unwell. It doesn't stop them also being [rule10]s though

ETA: I'm pretty sure this came from Telegram originally. A series of videos of them in action. Taken by themselves.

"British thugs Richie, best in the world."

Once again, I find myself torn between incredulity that someone could be so genuinely deluded, or whether this is just an elaborate joke.
Can you honestly not see the difference between lying and thinking outside the box?
How many times do we need to show you that Kit Knightly is a liar before you accept it? Have you even read any of the articles linked to here?

Well, a cold and covid-19 are both coronaviruses. In other news, decapitation and a paper cut are both cuts.
Some "colds" are caused by certain coronavirii, more are caused by rhinovirii.

Unh-uh.

Orthodox Covidism is the currently popular mass-movement religious substitute, and to question it is heresy according to its True Believers.
Oh look a conspiracy nut reduced to personal abuse when his lies are exposed.

There is a strong relationship between the current covid is a hoax arguments being presented by a particular person and propaganda from the Ron Paul Institute that claims Covid-19 is a hoax. Lew Rockwell worked for Ron Paul's periodicals offering financial advice to preppers until Ron Paul was banned from social media for spreading Covid-19 misinformation.

As I received a month's suspension for going into more detail previously, I will leave it at that.
Interesting, the connections between the conspiracy peddlers.
Thanks, for that.

Can you honestly not see the difference between lying and thinking outside the box?

Yes, I honestly can.

I tend to think outside the box, being a bit of an inventor and trend-setter.

I, in fact, invented the Nohawk, where you shave a strip of hair off your head, from front to back.

But, I can in no way whatever compare my efforts to the clear-thinking activism of Kit Knightly.

Thanks for asking.
