Is it treating us all here as children or child-like if heydarian believes that we should agree with him when he tells us that simple banal sentences in the Koran saying something like “
By the sky and the night comer – And what can make you know what is the night comer? It is the piercing star.” , is definitely and clearly a description Neutron Stars or Pulsars? … because heydarian clearly does believe that we should immediately accept that he is correct to claim that, because as he tells us “it is in any case the word of God himself!” … is it childish to believe things like that? … the sources that heydarain is following, i.e. the the so-called “I'jaz writers/preachers”, claim to have found over 1000 such absolute facts of modern science already shown in the Koran from 600AD …
… should we believe 1000 claims like that from such simplistic banal sentences? … or is it perfectly reasonable to describe such beliefs as “childish”? … at one point in this thread heydarain spent page after page insisting that Noah (he of the Arc) was indeed 900 years old, because he told us that it says so in the Koran, and that must be true & correct because everyone agrees that the Koran is certainly the very word of God himself … is it reasonable for an adult in the 21st century to believe that a man named Noah lived to be 900 years old (he was apparently aged 600 years when he hand-built his huge Arc) … you might tell that to children, and young children might believe you (at least until they got some sort of proper honest education about superstitious fairy stories), but it is not credible for educated 21st century adults to believe that, is it?
Similarly, also in the Koran it tells us that Adam (he of the Adam & Eve pairing) was 90ft tall. Should adults today believe that? Might children still believe that if a seemingly responsible adult insisted to them that it was undoubtedly the very word of God? Or is that again utterly “Childish”.
There are over 1000 claims like that made from the Koran to prove God by showing that the verses truly describe modern 21st century nuclear physics and all of science. If you do not like it said that you have to be “childish” to believe any of that, then how about
“as an adult today (21st century), you really have be either monumentally naive or else a religiously deluded idiot to believe any of those fundamentalist claims preached from the I'jaz of the Koran”
