Cont: Qanon Conspiracy Theories Part Two

When you say 9 months and resurrected... I think that it would be more appropriate to invoke reincarnation. Nine months after Trump dies, they're to look for his just born reincarnation!

I can see a decades long fight between ardent re-incarnationist versus the resurrections...both sides thinking the other is pure evil.

Jesus said he'd be back before the then-current generation was out. That rather blatant bit of fail didn't deter Christians.

Years ago I saw an interesting answer to that obvious and very large obstacle - that guy who was cursed to wander the earth as an undying mortal - he is (in some way) part of that generation and until he dies - well that generations isn't gone yet...or somethin'!

Ah (had to look it up) the Wandering Jew

The Wandering Jew is a mythical immortal man whose legend began to spread in Europe in the 13th century. In the original legend, a Jew who taunted Jesus on the way to the Crucifixion was then cursed to walk the Earth until the Second Coming. The exact nature of the wanderer's indiscretion varies in different versions of the tale, as do aspects of his character; sometimes he is said to be a shoemaker or other tradesman, while sometimes he is the doorman at the estate of Pontius Pilate.

Just in: QAnon Believers Suggest Secret Message Behind Announcement of Biden Dog Champ's Death

https://www.newsweek.com/qanon-beli...-behind-announcement-biden-dogs-death-1602280

President Joe Biden and the first lady announced on Saturday the passing of the family dog Champ, a 13-year-old German Shepherd who died peacefully at the Biden's family home in Delaware. Meanwhile, some QAnon supporters appear to have taken the announcement as a secret code.

Forbes reporter Andrew Solender tweeted the announcement of Champ's passing, and a cryptic reply caught his attention.

An account known as EyesOpen tweeted: "Dog comms? Seem a few around at the mo!!!"

"Comms" are formally known as secret messages that can be decoded by QAnon supporters.

I'm reading Cultish: The Language of Fanaticism by Amanda Montell, and this popped out. It's a pretty obvious point about QAnon.

From the crafty redefinition of existing words (and the invention of new ones) to powerful euphemisms, secret codes, renamings, buzzwords, chants and mantras, “speaking in tongues,” forced silence, even hashtags, language is the key means by which all degrees of cultlike influence occur.

Does it get more convoluted than this?

QAnon Supporters Dismayed at Donald Trump's December Tour With Bill O'Reilly

https://www.newsweek.com/qanon-trump-december-dates-bill-oreilley-president-1602328

QAnon supporters have acted with dismay and confusion after Donald Trump announced the December dates of his upcoming speaking tour with Bill O'Reilly, which coincides with when he is meant to have already been reinstated as president.

Trump has confirmed the upcoming dates and locations for the events with the former Fox News host in a statement while sharing links for his supporters to buy tickets, which are being sold for at least $100.

Some are struggling for an explanation.

Supporters of the radical movement expressed concerns that Trump going on a speaking tour later this year surely means that he will not be returning a president—a false claim they have continued to believe since he lost the 2020 election more than seven months ago.

"OK I GUESS MY QUESTION IS TRUMP COMING BACK? WHY WOULD HE BE DOING A TOUR THRU THE END OF THE YEAR WITH O'REILLY. HMMMMMMMMM SOMETHING DOESN'T FEEL RIGHT?,"

:dig:

A conspiracy theory about conspiracy theorists!

Fact check: False rumor that QAnon supporters buying tickets for Trump inauguration

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news...tickets-second-trump-inauguration/7703710002/

Circulating on social media: a false claim about conspiracy theorists purchasing fabricated tickets to a fake presidential inauguration.

Social media users are mocking QAnon supporters for allegedly purchasing fake tickets to "The 2nd Inauguration of Donald Trump." A photo of the tickets included in the posts says the event will be held in front of the United States Capitol building this August with "special musical guest stars" Ted Nugent and Kid Rock, both of whom are vocal Trump supporters.

Deeper and deeper. :eye-poppi

Too ridiculous to die.

QAnon Is Not Dead, It’s Evolving Into Something Far Worse
“The central thing to understand about QAnon is that the QAnon that existed from October 2017 to January 2021 is done,” Rothschild said. “There is no storm, there's not going to be a great awakening, Joe Biden is not going to enact a purge of the deep state. That's over. There's no more Q drops, you know that most of the big Q promoters have been run off of popular social media. So all of that is done.”

But for the tens of millions of believers—some of whom have spent years researching the idea that a deep state plot to protect a group of elites running an underground pedophile ring would result in mass arrests and even executions—turning their back on QAnon was never going to happen overnight.

It's no surprise that Qanon caught on with MAGA CHUDs.

What is a little more interesting is the seeming appeal to California crunchy types, like yoga, wellness, and alternative health influencers that might normally be thought of being more likely to be politically liberal.

This piece discusses the seeming popularity of our current brand of mystical fascism among this population

Back in the 1990s I attended a UFO Discussion group once a month. The folks were evenly divided between right and left.
