The events in DC are unacceptable. What's even more unacceptable is the lack of arrests for people that staged a coup. The Confederate army in five years of a bloody Civil War that tore the nation apart never did what happened today--marched a confederate flag in the US Capitol. Something needs to be done to Trump, the Congressional Republicans that have enabled this from objecting to the electoral votes without any proof of election shenanigans, to anyone else in his inner circle that has been boosting him (Kayleigh). The country needs to send an example that this is not America and will not be tolerated.

I never believed that. That’s why I joined this site almost 20 years ago back when Loose Change came about. That’s why this whole site exists. These things are dangerous.

Just saw a video of a woman from Tennessee who was whining about getting maced as she entered the Capitol building. When asked why she was going in there she said: "We're storming the Capitol, it's a revolution . . . "

Some revolution: total morons gulled by other morons who were gulled by nutjob CTers. But as dudalb noted, they are dangerous little creeps, lucky to have only been maced.

Does anyone know when Trump's 12 hour Twitter ban runs out? And whether he's deleted those tweets, which was the condition for it not becoming permanent?

Those people were radicalised, used as pawns and sacrificed all because the President is too much of a coward to admit that he lost and he lost badly.

I believe his account might be reinstated by now, but the ban would expire no sooner than 7:00 am EST (roughly). I don't know if he has deleted those tweets yet.

Personally, I would rather them just ban him outright and banish him to Parler before he gets put in jail.

I saw that last night a team of FBI agents went into the Capitol. I certainly hope arrests are coming. I am disappointed more people weren't shot.

I guess the nice thing about claiming that "Antifa infiltrators" were storming the Capitol is knowing that you'll never have to back that up with evidence- "they were infiltrators! That means they didn't look like Antifa, they looked like us!"

Kind of akin to the logic used by Kevin Sorbo here (on Twitter)-

To all the people who actually believe that it was Trump supporters who started the riot today:
Where was antifa and BLM to counter? They show up to every single event, so why not this one?
