Riots, looting, vandalism, etc.

What if:

- Trump is going to mock and blame DC Mayor for being unable to handle the situation.
- Lock down Washington, call it a national emergency and suspend any further transfer of power.

It should be pointed out even now the disparity in treatment the police give these people.

BLM types never would have got inside the building without serious violence. They call the guard in for far less when it's left wingers holding an event. Capitol police shuffled their feet and let these CHUDs storm the government halls.

When all this is over, I'm sure Pelosi and other clueless Democrats will thank the very same city police that allowed this to happen.

And should be arrested for such. Anyone walking around someplace in violation of the law is subject to arrest. Absolutely. Unequivocally.

How does that make them a "traitor" or "terrorist"? When being there is the only crime they are comitting?

The federal statue they are violating by their unlawful presence at the Capitol is “seditious conspiracy”. That covers “traitor”.

The politically-motivated violence they used to gain entry to the Capitol and force members of our government to be evacuated or barricade themselves in their offices covers “terrorist”.

The antifascists tried to warn everyone. They were right all along.

Maybe this is what it'll take for centrist fence-sitters to get a clue. Right wing terrorists have always been the largest threat to this country, it's not even close.

Yup, the right wingers are a largest threat, followed closely by the "all we are saying, is give violence a chance" left.

Cool. Now do a graph that shows who is actually committing this violence. Don’t forget to incorporate the data of today’s events.

**** You Ted Cruz
"What do you think you’re going to get from this, Ted? You’re already a senator and you’ll never be president. You already tried kissing up to Trump in 2016 in the vain hope that his candidacy would collapse and you could collect the pieces. It didn’t work then, and it won’t work now."

"You’re too much of an elitist wuss for the MAGA crowd. They hear you talk. They saw how you came crawling back after Trump insulted your wife and called your father a murderer. They like Trump’s over-the-top reality show charisma, which you very much lack."

"And you’re too much an opponent of the Constitution for the conservative establishment. The weaselly, technically-not-lying excuse won’t fly. “All I did was note the allegations” or “I just called for an investigation to restore confidence” is transparent ********. Maybe some rubes don’t understand the “just asking questions” style of conspiracy theorizing, but enough people do."

This is rehashing a very old conversation with the same exact points. The right-wing are obviously committing more violence, they are obviously a bigger threat, we can see this all over today's news and I've never said anything different. Does this make left-wing rioting, violence, and bullying better somehow? Easier to accept? And I'm the one indulging in whataboutism here?

Things I Love About The ISF: posters can take any extraordinary event and within minutes make it about themselves and their posting histories. If an alien spacecraft landed tomorrow and Jesus Christ emerged riding a dinosaur and rode around reviving the dead some posters would take the opportunity to bicker about what another poster said in 2014.

Yes. Yes, you are.

Right wing terrorists are currently occupying the Capitol and you keep wanting to talk about how both sides are bad. That’s exactly how whataboutism works.

Have you not seen my posts begging for the national guard to put a stop to the insurrection?

Soundwave writes: "I denounce the behavior of Ravage and Rumble, and call on Starscream to move against them".

As I recall, Capitol Hill is not really DCPD's to patrol - that's for Capitol Police to do as I recall. Could be wrong, though. Not that I love DC's police, mind you, but both are, if nothing else, better than places like Baltimore, much less Ferguson.

BLM DC, though, would never consider attempting to bash their way into the capitol with weapons - among other reasons, they don't carry weapons to protests at all.

The big difference is that you can't get a black radical reading circle together without the FBI trying to infiltrate it with CI's, but right wing radicals can openly plot terrorism and the whole police system treats it as a goof.

Any vaguely left wing protest always elicits a huge, overheated police response. Right wingers that talk explicitly in terms of needing to "kill traitors" or "water the tree of liberty" get treated like a grade school field trip to DC hotspots.

Why is it that a right wing riot that was telegraphed weeks in advance was still able to overrun the police lines without much effort? Where are the riot cops we see beating and gassing BLM types every weekend? Where's the national guard?

Fash getting the silk glove treatment from police every step up to this coup attempt.

for once I mostly agree with ST, this was planned and well known to all and they marched right in there mostly unchallenged. An unbelievably light response. Pathetic and embarrassing.

Yes, but why?

Do you think the cops are that stupid, or perhaps they are sympathetic to the extremist right wing cause?

Yes, it is a mystery, isn’t it?

Perhaps after I finish watching live footage of police politely escorting right wing terrorists away from the Capitol building they invaded and occupied earlier today, I can put some thought to this dilemma.
