Just being where they are lawfully barred from being should get them arrested then?Their very presence at the Capitol constitutes seditious conspiracy.
I must agree, again, that is something that should get one arrested.

I don't excuse it at all.
The Obtuseness of some posters in this thread is incredible.
There have been 56 pages of excusing the behavior of rioters if their viewpoints agree with their apologists- followed instantly on page 57 by calls for executions of rioters as "treasonous" when their viewpoints don't align.
My posts are some of the only ones maintaining any continuity of principle. The police need to start shutting down the (mostly peaceful) protestors in DC, the same way they were needed to shut down the (mostly peaceful) protestors who have been causing trouble in our cities all year.
The stance that they should shut down protests in Seattle, Portland, Philly, Chicago, etc.. has been contested in this thread since day one- now, all of a sudden: "OMG!! where are the police!!!"
It's laughable.
Truth. Including arson of occupied government buildings.
Wrong about arson or wrong about apologetics for arson? That's an interesting way to look at it.
Wrong, but interesting.
We’re not talking about riots or arson or vandalism.
We’re talking about insurrection and sedition.
You both really need to up your whataboutism game, because what you’re bringing now is weak sauce.
We’re not talking about riots or arson or vandalism.

I see.Your coup apologetics are pathetic.
Actually, we are talking about a (largely peaceful) protest, right? We’re not talking about riots or arson or vandalism.
We’re talking about insurrection and sedition.
You both really need to up your whataboutism game, because what you’re bringing now is weak sauce.
I'm not excusing the behavior or right wing rioting based on left wing rioting, that would whataboutism. I'm sick to my stomach by the rioters and make no apologetics for them.
Then why are you in this thread? We’re not talking about riots or arson or vandalism.
We’re talking about insurrection and sedition.

“I am mobilizing all federal and local resources, civilian and military, to protect the rights of law abiding Americans.”
"Mayors and governors must establish an overwhelming presence until the violence is quelled.”
“If a city or state refuses to take the actions necessary to defend the life and property of their residents, then I will deploy the United States military and quickly solve the problem for them.”
“You have to dominate, if you don’t dominate you’re wasting your time. They’re going to run over you. You’re going to look like a bunch of jerks. You have to dominate."
Because anyone who would expect equal treatment for any rioter must be on the side of these rioters. Gotcha. Then maybe don’t throw in with those who are. And maybe don’t second untruthful accounts of what is currently happening in D.C.
I see.
Anyone walking around the area during the riot is - by definition- a part of the crime in progress.
How did that principle apply to the riots (and reaction to rioters) that sparked this 57 page thread?
Has your viewpoint remained consistent on this? Or did you just see the light today for some reason?
Because anyone who would expect equal treatment for any rioter must be on the side of these rioters. Gotcha.![]()
Have you not seen my posts begging for the national guard to put a stop to the insurrection?
And should be arrested for such. Anyone walking around someplace in violation of the law is subject to arrest. Absolutely. Unequivocally.Again, anyone currently “walking around” on Capitol grounds is in violation of federal law. They are already engaging in inherently illegal activity.
Your weak-ass whataboutism game might be slightly improved if you actually knew what you were talking about.
Unable to point out a "fact challenged" post? No, but I did see your post in which you high-fived Distracted1’s fact-challenged account of what is currently happening.
Because anyone who would expect equal treatment for any rioter must be on the side of these rioters. Gotcha.![]()
"Untruthful accounts"? Point out an "untruthful account" please.
