The Crazy are going to Crazy no matter what we do. The point of this is to make it publicly very obvious which side is the Crazy Party and which isn't.

That's seems like an awfully dismissive way to frame this.

It has already been very obvious to the public what side these people are on. If anything, the people who have been engaging in organized street violence are becoming increasingly welcome by the mainstream right.

Trump will be out of power, but that is by no means a repudiation of this growing prominence of the radicalized, violent right wing.

No amount of "normalcy" in the white house is going to stop these people from continuing their campaigns of street violence. If anything, the out of power, embattled right wing will only encourage even more extreme violence.

I suspect the right will increasingly become the party of stochastic terrorism.
