I hope they have someone from the EPA (which regulates disinfectants) overseeing this. Most disinfectants are labeled to be applied by coarse spray (~400 nm or greater droplet diameter) because the registrants have no available data showing that the smaller droplets created by a mister or fogger have the same efficacy, due to the reduced amount of active ingredient contacting the surfaces. Most of the products that are labeled for mists and fogs are only approved as a preliminary cleaning step which then needs to be followed with conventional disinfectant application.
