Supreme Court just threw out a suit trying to overturn the election results in Pennslyvania. Did it in one sentence with no dissents.A big nail in the coffin.

You are right techincally, but still pretty much clear the Supreme Court is not going to touch any of these lawsuits with a ten foot pole.

That's how they do it. Alito has general authority over appeals in the third circuit. He denied referral to the full court. And even if he referred to the full court (IIRC) he needs two other justices to accept it.
The case had ZERO legal merit.

I agree. 99% of me expected this outcome. (I only worried a little)

And it is no coincidence he crushed it on Safe Harbor day.
 
The Trumptards are now saying that the Texas Suite will overturn the election.
They are making a big deal about how the case has been docketed by the Supreme Court and means it will be heard.
That is BS. ANY case submitted to a court is docketed. The case the court just threw out was docketed.
Surprise; the Trumptards are living in la la land, with no understanding of how the legal process works.

Wouldn't it be three? Don't you need 4 justices to bring it to the full court?

At what point do they realize that this means nothing? In a week? In two? Basically being "docketed" means we stamped your fax "received" and filed it.

Also you have to wonder why. The Texas suit makes the exact same argument that Mike Kelly's Pennsylvania suit made that Alito just tossed.

Apparently, this goes a lot deeper than we thought. Even the conservatives on the SCOTUS are in on the fix, too. Along with various state Supreme courts, federal appeals judges, pizza shops, the Post Office, and more.

In the 2000s he stirred up a lot of illegal-immigration hysteria, then I read some interview where he displayed a much softer stance. I just can't conceive of Dobbs having any genuine difference with Miller. It occurs to me maybe he is attacking some unnamed other Republicans. Bill Barr? He specifically criticizes the White House - WTF is he even talking about?

All those Trumpalos have been thinking this ultra right wing SCOTUS would save their messiah from having to leave Washington DC. That they would ignore the law and demolish democracy just for him were in for a rude awakening.
 
Well, to be fair, there's been a lot of liberals going around for months saying that that's exactly what the SCOTUS would do.

But let's not be fair. The Trumpalos can all go die in a dumpster fire and decrease the surplus population.
