2020 United States presidential election - Conspiracy theories, alleged fraud, etc

This seems to be a case of only evaluating one possibility (workers were engaging in fraud) without considering other possible explanations of what they were doing. As discussed in the other thread, it should not be difficult to identify at least some of the workers in the video since it is unlikely that run-of-the-mill employees (or volunteers) would have had access to that room on their own, meaning that at least one of them must have been in the leadership of whatever board or agency counts votes (and it is unlikely that such a person would not have known that everything they did would be seen on security cameras).

You list me at "This". What "This"?

Here's an update from Marc Elias on this case:

Basically, they realized after being made fools on national TV, "OOPSIE!" and are trying to ammend their complaint alleging that they've been stretched too thin.

That was astonishing even for Trump’s gang of slavering nincompoops.

This should be an easy decision.

“Plaintiffs request leave of court to…”

Court: “HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA (breathe) HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA (breathe) No.”

Yea, I'm sure a busy judge really appreciates that one.

Yeah, I've never seen a judge be impressed by, "I was too busy to do a good job." The answer is always, "Sounds like a 'you' problem."

More importantly, since so many of these complaints are being dismissed according to laches (the legal doctrine, "You snooze; you lose") and so many of them were filed seemingly intentionally late in the game, the judge has discretion to deny leave to amend on the grounds of undue delay.

It's a good thing that we're headed into a weekend, because I am SO tired of all this winning that I can hardly stand it.

In his systematic evisceration of the Trump’s election contest in Nevada, a Carson City judge provided a handy guide for every conspiracy theory that fell flat. Judge James T. Russell wrote that Trump’s would-be electors “did not prove under any standard of proof” for their baseless claims 25 times in his ruling.

Gee, Wi, PA, GA and NV all with a very similar result.
Time for another triumphant press conference!

These deep state conspiracies to not destroy democracy are pretty hard to slip one past.

Arizona just rejected another attempt by Team Trump to overturn American democracy.

The counter for the losses by these dull-witted legal brownshirts is spinning faster than an Enterprise chronometer in a time warp - The part in the episode where they’re returning to their present after a trip to the 1960s. It’s really fortunate that while they’re as corrupt and treasonous and un-American as everybody else associated with Trump, they’re also equally incompetent.

Really? Which occasion was this? Was it the

- claim there was fraud in a county that does not exist
- claim that there was fraud in a Michigan county that was actually in Minnesota
- demand for the surveillance video from the wrong counting center in a different state
- including a named plaintiff without his permission

There have been so many times they have made complete and utter fools of themselves on national TV, I've lost track!

Getting this CT garbage tossed out is one thing, but has no one mentioned sanctions for the blatant attempts at breaking court rules yet?

Somebody has to be that irritated by now.

Every Trump lawyer bringing every one of their cases to every judge:

No, it's Bubba parroting a criticism of the Q-nut chant ... In fact, he doesn't seem capable of posting anything original; his posts are almost completely cut and paste, many times without attribution.

Many times it is also without actually reading what he is sharing and having no knowledge of the actual content of the material he has posted.

But then...that's Bubba. Par for the course.

Really recommend reading the judgement, it goes through the allegations almost line by line and explains clearly the lack of supporting evidence.

OK, I have just finished reading it.....

Oh my, that was ******* brutal!! A systematic, comprehensive and irrefutable takedown of Trump's conspiracy theory hogwash.

It reads like a post here from someone like Reality Check
Yes it did. I laughed. I love Reality Check's rebuttal summary posts concerning the bizarre claims of "scientific lunatics". It's the skeptical version of Reader's Digest. for the educated person. :)

That is just more proof it really is over.

There is nothing those evil crazy election stealers can do now. We can all breathe easy.
