Yes Remgeneron (I'm still researching Remdesivir) was developed from a fetal cell line. But here's the thing. That fetus in question was aborted... in 1972. The strain of cells has just been kept going ever since then. It's called the HEK 293 cell line and it is often used in biomedical research because it's useful to have a single standard for that kind of thing.

Nitpick: It is a long time since insulin was derived from animals. It is produced by gene manipulated yeast cells.

I have heard of born-agains who are completely on board with in vitro fertilization. They use various bible verses of God saying, "I knew you in the womb" or "I created you in the womb" to argue that an embryo in a petri dish is not yet human because it wasn't formed in the uterus. I haven't been able to find one instance of a woman or couple who insisted that only one egg be fertilized and implanted.

Remgeneron? Isn't Trump taking Remgeneron so he can be regenerated and will never die? Qanon wants to know.

Trump has completed his COVID treatment and will be ready for a "safe return to public engagements" on Saturday.
 
It's worth noting that they *still* won't say when he last tested negative. Apparently it's 'privacy concerns'

Number one, he isn't CAPABLE of a safe return. It will be unsafe for anyone around him.

Number two, I though the isolation period was 10 days?

If you start from Thursday, that will be 10 days. He was positive before that from the first test.

Nobody appears to be buying into the fiction that he will be totally recovered and noncontagious by the weekend. People aren't going to want to be around him. I mean, it amazes me that people want to be around him in the first place, but until he tests negative he should remain in isolation.

I wonder if he's been able to get his hair tended to.

Trump has the option of allowing that information to be released. The fact it hasn't means he thinks it would negatively affect his reelection since all of his decisions are based on that simple calculus.

He loves crowds and campaigning. I think he got it and became the superspreader since others in close proximity to him were tested daily and the White House has declined the CDC's offer of help in tracing.
