Not possible here because the demand is to basically stop policing black people. If the demand were to stop policing Chinese Americans, it wouldn't really be practical but the impact of agreeing to it wouldn't have enormous impact.

Blacks expect to be able to be:

1.) The most criminal segment of society
2.) Resist arrest with massive aggression on a regular basis and have a culture of taking pride in being volatile and violent on a hair trigger at the slightest sign of disrespect, etc.
3.) Not suffer any consequences at all for items 1 and 2

This just isn't practical. If you're going to be the most criminal segment of society, you're going to run afoul of the cops a lot, and if you're going to attack police with violence on a regular basis when they try to interfere with your criminality, you're going to end up shot dead a percentage of the times you do that.

This is normal, right, and good. The request is to overturn this obvious reality, and that cannot (or at least should not) happen.

They are essentially asking for society to stop being civilized or functional. Not a real surprising request coming from people who run their own continent the way they do, but not a request we can reasonably be expected to fulfill.

ETA: Forgot to mention the other thing that makes it even more impossible to honor this request is a media that is dedicated to spreading lies about all of these cases, sensationalizing them, framing them as racist executions when - without fail - every time - when you learn the details of the case, the cops either acted in an entirely justifiable way, OR their mistake was well within the bounds of what a human being might do in the heat of the moment under the circumstances.

As for the cop rolling his bike tires over some idiot trying to block their path? I mean, I wish the police were just straight up opening fire on these groups of protestors at this point, especially because anyone doing this in late September 2020 has seen enough about the character of the previous iterations this year to know plenty about the arson, violence, looting and if you are making the decision to be part of this at this point, you are a complete write off IMO.

I, however, am an upstanding white citizen who just happens to fantasize about the police extrajudicially murdering people and I think it would great if they started doing that.

Both the wild boars breeding like krill and swarming over the countryside in Texas or wherever, and the hunters shooting them from helicopters - are violent.

There is a distinction between their violence though. One is wild, uncontrolled, destructive, impulsive.

The violence of the hunter is calculated, considered, and done for the purpose of maintaining calm and order. To limit the destruction created by the violence of the wild boars.

Both the home invader and the home owner who shoots them dead are "violent" but context and intent matter. Both the pitbull who just ate a toddler's face and the veterinarian injecting that pit bull later that evening with a fatal drug via syringe are doing something "violent" I guess.

I guess you could argue that your violent fantasy in which you wish for the injury and death of other people is calculated and considered, but only in the way that a sociopath is calculated and considered.

The police employing deadly force is the only thing that will stop these super destructive, endless riots. Much like border patrols doing so is the only thing that would stop the hordes.

I guess in the case of the riots there might be a temporary period of no flare ups until the next big case, when it gets cold out or there's no big media lied about case for a while, but I'm not comfortable just accepting these as part of American life from now on. Even occasionally.

It's literally the only thing that will drive millions into the streets, because white supremacists are the only ones who see all protesters as rioters, and everyone else sees people attacked by police in their homes because the protests happened nearby.

Best solution of all is to just split the country up, skip the bloody civil war, and we can have a country for those of us who "boot lick" the police, aka want an orderly, majority white country which reflects that spirit and the correspondent notions of law and order, cleanliness, etc.

Meanwhile, the other side gets to have no police, or police who carry Nerf bats, or whatever it is they want. They can do reparations, infinite immigration from the third world, whatever. Knock yourselves out. Have a blast.

Just stop forcing us to be included in that blast.
