Yeppers, here is a list of Imperial Japanese Naval Yards used to build warships, support ships and marus used to support military operations. Shipyards in Hiroshima I believe make cruise ships now.

It was one of the main merchant ship construction yards. One of the largest training bases was in Nagasaki!
However, its main function was an embarkation port using the large Ujina Military Pier.

Toyo Kogyo produced weapons for the Japanese military throughout the Second World War, most notably the series 30 through 35 Type 99 rifle. They are now known as Mazda. Located in Hiroshima.

Note Abbadon: IJN Yamato was built in Hiroshima but that was the name of the prefecture (province) at Kure naval yard not Hiroshima city itself.
