I think this is a bad attack. The eagle isn't that dissimilar from the Great Seal eagle, but with its feet together.

If the circle had been at the top, people would have cried that it was too much like the Great Seal, at the bottom, it's too much like the Nazi eagle...

When you have a wealth of real things to attack on, bringing this kind of thing up is a distraction.

Yes, there are some similarities between the great seal (and many other logos used by the U.S. government) and the nazi eagle.

But, there are some differences... the direction the eagle faces, the fact that the eagles in the U.S. typically have something in their tallons.

Here's a suggestion... Instead of having the eagle facing forward with its head turned, show it with the body in profile. Or with the head facing forward. Or with wings more bent. Or show it standing on something other than a circle... a branch, Donald Trump's hair, etc.

The idea that it HAS to be an eagle with it's wings wide with its head turned to the rigght while standing on a circle containing an emblem is a bit... limiting.

Its not a major distraction, and if anything it will help remind people that "Yes, Trump is a racist".

Besides, even if people are distracted by this, there will probably be some new outrage soon that will distract from the distraction.

Ummm. Is there some confusion going on between globalnews(dot)ca and globalresearch(dot)ca?

The former (with which I was not familiar) appears to be a valid news site, while the latter (with which I am familiar) is a hive of CT scum and villainy.

There should be no confusion. Global TV is a legitimate Canadian TV channel. Their news service is quite legitimate and reliable. It is my first choice for daily TV news.

Yes, Global News(dot)ca is related to the global television network. Its our second largest private broadcaster and has a pretty good reputation.

Its not the only news source which has covered the story. We also have:
Newsweek
Forbes
 
The symbol is actually quite similar to the Marine Corps Emblem. Of course, he renamed NAFTA to USMCA in a similar sort of ripoff. What, is he trying to look tough or something?

- wings at a different angle
- eagle in the marine Corps emblem has a banner in its beak

That's almost literally the Parteiadler 'Party Eagle' of the Nazis with the Swastika replaced with the US flag, and the slogan of the American Nazi Party above it.

It's not subtle. It's not even a dog whistle. It's training the GOP and conservatives not to see fascist symbols out in the open. After the triangle thing, I think we don't have to wonder what kind of people are running that team.

Oy Vey is right! Trump disgusts me so much that I hate looking at him, regardless of the photo or video that's featured. I don't think anyone else has ever made me feel physically repulsed just by the sight of them.
