He lies so much, he's created his own alternate reality that he lies about.
But, oh so Trump.
I'm beginning to suspect he may be a narcissist.
I doubt it. That's not even a mental illness. What he has, is.
Trump Tweets
Sleepy Joe Biden and the Radical Left Democrats want to “DEFUND THE POLICE”. I want great and well paid LAW ENFORCEMENT. I want LAW & ORDER!
How does Donald Trump know how large the crowd is when he’s hiding in his basement bunker with the three fences and concrete barriers??
His twitter followers are posting pictures of people at the edge of the crowd claiming there aren't many protestors. Pictures of Black Lives Matter Plaza and the the National Mall show it dwarfs his inauguration crowd.
Another Trump lie. Biden has never called for defunding the police. Radical activists on the far left, not 'Democrats' are calling for various levels of defunding.
God, I really hate that man.
Tens of thousands of people streamed into Washington, D.C., amid heat and humidity Saturday for what might have been the capital’s largest protests yet against racism, police violence and the killing of George Floyd. Video from Chopper4 showed a massive crowd extending for blocks leading up to the White House in the evening. An estimated 100,000 to 200,000 protesters were expected in D.C., Army Secretary Ryan McCarthy said. NBC 4 link
I don't imagine any appointments by anyone for the foreseeable future unless POTUS and senate are same party. If the Biden wins and the Dems don't take the Senate, not one federal judge or Supreme Court Justice will get confirmed. And the R's will blame Biden for that, just as they did Obama.
A veto-proof group of Minneapolis lawmakers have announced a plan to disband the police department. I don't know that they're all radical activists.
Nine members — a veto-proof majority — of the Minneapolis City Council pledged on Sunday to dismantle the city’s Police Department, promising to create a new system of public safety in a city where law enforcement has long been accused of racism...Council members said in interviews on Sunday that they did not have specific plans to announce for what a new public safety system for the city would look like. They promised to develop plans by working with the community, and said they would draw on past studies, consent decrees and reforms to policing across the nation and the world.Link
I predict he will grant sweeping self pardons on the way out. It will get tied up in the courts for eternity. The only hope is NY State.I do hope Trump goes to prison... but I suspect the Democrats will "wimp out" on pursuing charges. Plus, the legal system does tend to be very lenient on financial and political crimes.

Bender told the Minneapolis Star Tribune that she envisions replacing a traditional police department with a broader, more holistic public safety department geared toward violence prevention and community services. Social workers or medics could respond to situations once handled by police, she said.
Problem I have is not so much with words "Under God" but that the assumption of many this means the Christian God. Irony is when Eisenhower signed the change, he made a major point of saying that no specific God was meant.
Even though the movement behind inserting "under God" into the pledge might have been initiated by a private religious fraternity and even though references to God appear in previous versions of the pledge, historian Kevin M. Kruse asserts that this movement was an effort by corporate America to instill in the minds of the people that capitalism and free enterprise were heavenly blessed. Kruse acknowledges the insertion of the phrase was influenced by the push-back against Russian and Chinese atheistic communism during the Cold War, but argues the longer arc of history shows the conflation of Christianity and capitalism as a challenge to the New Deal played the larger role.
I suspect these checks and balance could be repaired in under 75 days.
If Biden wins the election, the Republicans will work tirelessly to get those limits clarified and codified before January 20.
Although I fear the proposed law may say that SCOTUS is required to rule on the appropriateness of each and every subpoena that Congress sends to POTUS and his or her staff.
...But anyone who thinks social workers and medics are going to respond to an armed robbery or a report of a sniper shooting up a store is nuts.
There's a background lie to this. trump also tweeted:
What a dirtbag:
With everything going on our 'president' fritters away his time on nonsense like this. Nonsense that's not even true.![]()
I suspect that Trump will never spend a day behind bars. It's too big a leap to put an ex-President in jail.If Trump loses in November, he’ll be in prison in 2024. I’m not well versed in the US constitution but I imagine that might be detrimental to his eligibility.
If I'm right, the next best thing would be to levy judgements against him that leaves he and his whole family living in Section 8 housing.

This is not an argument that he should not spend time in jail; he should. But I think it's not likely to happen.

What so you think they are just going to abolish the police force and not replace it? Any such move would be to replace a broken system with one that works, not head towards anarchy, But I suspect you know that and are just straw manning the argument.A veto-proof group of Minneapolis lawmakers have announced a plan to disband the police department.
